The photo depicts the storefront of a Dollar Tree retail store, featuring large green letters spelling 'DOLLAR TREE' above arched windows and a small hedge in front. The building has a white facade with stone accents at the base of the arches. The sky above is partly cloudy with the sun partially obscured by clouds, creating a bright but diffused light. The parking lot in front appears empty or with minimal activity.

This is the perfect place to come when you need supplies to be creative! I came for markers, colored pens and gift bags. They had a lot for me to choose from. They do have a freezer section. And EVERYTHING in it is 1.25!

The Dollar Tree is descended from Ben Franklin discount stores that first began operating 1953. From the Ben Franklin's the founders opened K&K 5&10 and K&K Toy Stores. In the mid 80's another discount chain was started called only $1.00. In the 90's it was decided that the company would only focus on the development of dollar stores and in 1993 the name was changed to Dollar Tree. The company now operates close to 15,000 stores in 48 states. The company also operates the Family Dollar chain. Dollar Tree is always where I come to buy inexpensive gift wrap and tags. You can find so many great things to make your gift stand out. They also have greeting cards and balloons so I can make any holiday or birthday special. I purchased all of my Christmas bags, wrapping paper, tags, and gift toppers like bells and flowers. The Dollar Tree also stocks household items, toys, stationary products, and seasonal decorations. I just saw an interesting piece about Dollar Stores on CBS Sunday morning. While I tend to think of them only in a positive light as they help me stretch my budget in other parts of the country their high buying power has put mom and pop stores out of business. Many of them are also predominantly placed in poor communities and the food they sell is some of the worst nutritionally. It was a thought provoking piece about the hidden cost of cheap goods. In any case this store is large and had exactly what I wanted and needed. It is also near the movie theater so you can pick up cheap snacks instead of paying the exorbitant theater prices. I don't think I will be breaking myself from the Dollar Tree shopping anytime soon.

Big bags of now and later, 6 count wrapped individually wrapped within. Office candy goals.

So I'm a big fan of Dollar Tree. I generally get all my office candy from there and various other small items. This week I went twice to DT for FLITE donations for my work charity. Making survival kits, dollar tree is pretty nice since you can buy things individually and then I made the packages and bins later. Things I bought were toothpastes, tooth brushes, shampoos/conditioners, cleaning supplies, laundry detergents etc. I was able to buy everything I wanted within $100. I did not leave without some candy. Now and laters are the main candy showstopper at this DT because their bag is bigger than most locations of DT. Compared to other DTs in the area, this one is really decent. Still I think my favorite location in Broward county is the Royal Palm one. ~

I came to this dollar tree to buy some gift wrapping and some gift bags to wrap some last minute gifts during the Christmas holiday. Ok, it is hard to judge how good or bad this particular store is because I have never been there before, so I don't have anything to compare. However, on this particular day, this store was a mess. Shelves were empty because most of the product was on the floor. It was about 11:00 am and I find it hard to believe that from opening time to mid morning got this trashed. The lines were long and there was one cashier initially, and when people started complaining, another cashier showed up. I find that customer service isn't a priority for Dollar Tree in general. Not coming back.

This Dollar Tree is pretty nice, you guys! I mean, yeah, it's a Dollar Tree, it's not a Nordstrom, but for what it's worth, it does the trick! The location is bigger than most Dollar Tree's. They've got all the things you'd need (that cost a buck) and a bunch of stuff you probably don't either. They sell everything from birthday cards, plates and cups, cleaning supplies and frozen food. Yes, frozen food can be bought here. You're not going to find a Coach bag here or anything of any real name brand, but sometimes I need cheap stuff and this place is well organized and the lines moved quickly so I really can't ask for much more than that. It's okay in my books.

Dollar Tree has taken the place of the old 5 and 10. They have journals, cups, soap, socks everything you can think of for a dollar. They have surprises like a complete set of exquisite stationary. You just have to look for these prizes. All for a dollar. I buy Tootsie Roll Fruit Rolls in the large size around Easter. As many as you can find. Again all for a dollar. Good luck searching!

I was so excited to read about this new store... an odd lot;job lot;big lot;place with bargains. In…read morereality, it was very disappointing. The concept is that you grab a bag and sift through cardboard boxes of stuff and fill up your bag. Depending on the day you come, the prices change. Monday's price is $3; on Tuesdays it's $2 for each item in the box, etc... down to a 25 cents "blowout" on Thursday morning... until they restock and start the week again. I don't know if the people who came over the weekend and paid $6 an item got all the bargains, but we didn't see even one thing that we considered buying. It was just big cardboard boxes lined up and very awkward to reach into that had piles of the same junk in it -- items you'd find left over from a sale in a flea market. Around the perimeter were drug store and grocery items marked at supposedly 50 percent off the retail price. Again nothing that was of any interest to us. And that's saying a lot when I can't find at least one thing to spend my money on. I'm glad I came -- so I won't feel like I've missed out on anything. Now I know.

Store feels cluttered and slightly dark. We walked in to find only one other visitor on Saturday afternoon. We heard staff making up prices in back area for incoming items. It felt like rock, paper, scissors. Hmmm .... They proudly offer they are a Target Store liquidator now. Interesting as at least 1/2 the store did not look like regular Target merchandise. The pricing now is full retail and then a discount of 35% off. Todays special was slightly higher. They also warned that credit card would add a 3% charge. (Being in financials, they should check processor contract as Visa/MC do not commonly allow this) It was not what we wanted and left. Not knocking their decision to go this route, but doubt we would return. The original business design seemed to offer more possibilities and just needed some better execution. We do wish them luck ....

99 Cent Farmer's Market - Pompano…read more What an unexpected gem! The 99 Cent Farmer's Market in Pompano blew me away with its gorgeous fruit selection, super fresh herbs, and all kinds of miscellaneous goodies -- all at unbelievably low prices. Everything was vibrant, fresh, and far higher quality than you'd ever expect for 99 cents. They even have great snack boxes that are perfect for on-the-go. And as a sweet surprise, we were given a free pumpkin on our way out! The staff made the experience even better. Everyone was warm and friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to Angelina, our wonderfully helpful cashier, and Anissa -- The Juice Spot Queen -- who absolutely lives up to the title. If you haven't checked out this place yet, you're missing out. Highly recommended! PS Don't forget to bring your own shopping bags!

They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

I didn't keep the receipt as I planned on keeping it as I knew I would use it too. I thought I was a good deal at this outlet but be careful as they are crooks. I had noticed the box was open, but since everything was there, I didn't worry and I happily wrapped it up for Christmas. As life gets busy, my boyfriend hasn't had time to use the massager so I went to try and charge it for him last night and that's when I realized that it was completely the wrong charger for the machine. I guess that someone else returned it, the store didn't check if everything was returned correctly, they put it back on the shelf, and I purchased it. Of course, this is very upsetting as it's not cheap and this was my big present for my boyfriend so now I have a massager that I cannot use in any way. I went back to the store to see if they can help me. I expressed this to the owner's wife and the other lady at the store, explaining everything in a nice way (my mother always taught me that you get more with honey.) In this case, the owner's wife thought it was OK to raise her voice at me and talk to me the entire way in a loud, reprimanding voice and repeating that I did not have a receipt. I understand I don't have a receipt but for a store to accept something returned prior that was incomplete and then turn around to resell it is unacceptable. I initially agreed to leave the massager there and come back tomorrow to see if they found another charger as the other lady was helpful. But since I didn't have the receipt, I thought maybe I should go back and ask the owner's wife just to write something that I left it there as proof for me. Right when I walked back in, I tried calmly asking her this, with a smile, and she continued to raise her voice at me, and tell me that she was going to call the cops that I was attacking her. Well, the owner can look at the camera and see the truth, that the way his wife treats his customers is completely rude and unacceptable. Maybe I could understand if I went in there screaming and such, but in the manner that I came in and explain led my situation, there was no reason for her loud and rude behavior when they were the ones that did not check their returned merchandise. This is not the way to treat anyone, let alone a customer. Store #23060

So, why would I stop here instead of the Dollar Tree, just yards away??? Well, they do have a lot of items that I would not find at Dollar Tree, especially things that might be in the $3-$8 range. Yes there are things that could be $10-$20 at Walmart or Target, but could be under $8 here, so take your time and browse around...the place is really big and most of the items are grouped in department categories, but some are not.
