When I arrived, the employee at the counter was dismissive and unwilling to help, and management barely seemed interested in actually looking into the situation or contacting the employee who supposedly held the items. At that point, it honestly felt like someone internally may have purchased the items themselves because there was zero accountability and no real effort made to resolve the issue after I wasted my time driving there. This location consistently has some of the worst attitudes and customer service I've experienced at any TJ Maxx, which is disappointing considering it's the closest one to where I live.

She waited until my situation was completely handled, she made me feel like everything was okay, and gave me her undivided attention. It reminds me of a dollar store but a bit more upscale, with so many products. They had music playing which always makes me happy when I shop to music. Guess it helps people spend money. They have a ton of organizational items, party supplies, kitchen and bath, cleaning brushes, etc. Pricing is unique in that you have to look at the conversion chart. I bought a few kitchen items, some organizational bins and some hair products. I bought a whole bag full for about 40.00. They have self checkout and a buzzer to ring if the cashier is not there. A couple of us were waiting until we saw both. The only issue is the self checkout will cause you to scan your item twice. The cashier had to come over about 3 times to void the extra scan. It's really sensitive. Bring your own bag, they charge .25 for the brown bags. I think the plastic ones are free. I added a bag because it asked how many. Didn't realize they meant the brown ones. I will go back because I love little trinkets and gadgets.

It's right next to a bunch of other similar stories on the south side of 290 in a busy plaza area. Perhaps because it's busy, it's quite disorganized and sometimes I think they didn't find good staff yet. We found a few good things that we wanted in this store and we like shopping here and looking for items for both my Barbie and myself. So it's not bad at all and it's right in the heart of Cypress but a little difficult for traffic.
