This shopping center is near where I live. It is currently undergoing much renovations. Many…read morebusinesses have come and gone but it does have some perks going for it. Giant Eagle sits on the grounds of a former K-Mart. It is not an overly large store but provides for my weekly shopping needs. Directly across from it is a Getgo with a kiosk for small purchases and payments. Off to the corner is Ryan Automotive, home of Goodyear tires and car repairs. Some of the ongoing tenants include "eye guys" a vision store, Rite Aid, Gentry cleaners, Busy Beaver off to one corner, a bowling alley, three different banks, Save a lot grocery, and a great breakfast/lunch spot called Hanlon's cafe (reviewed separately). Hess Physical therapy stands in place of a former Payless shoe store. There is also a Dollar tree and a small gym called Wright's. Check out their website for complete store listing. There is plenty of parking spaces. Around the perimeter you will find Walgreen's, CVS, Crafton ice cream shop (open seasonally) and a post office. You are also close to both Crafton and Ingram Park and the adjoining West Bus way stop. There is a lot of turnover in this mall. It sometimes gets difficult to maneuver because to enter a particular store you need to walk the appropriate ramp. I like having three banks within the immediate vicinity and having convenience nearby. Since it is an old shopping center be aware of safety concerns. Hopefully the renovations once completed may attract more visitors to the community.

Instead of having flowers "Daisies" which was offered by the cake dept. there are colorful balloons all over the cake. So now the cake looks like a child's birthday cake and not what I asked and PAID for. This must happen often because the woman in the bakery that helped me knew exactly what to say without a second thought "$10.00 off or you can talk to the manager". Prices here are a little lower than in other suburbs but on par with the nearby Speedway and the Getgo in Robinson where the former King's restaurants once stood. This Getgo doesn't have a walk in store like some of the other major ones, however, they do sell a limited amount of grab and go. They also have a station set up for free air which is always a bonus in the event that dreaded light pops on in your car alerting you of low tire pressure. It is designed to both put in or take out excess air It has multiple entrances and is only crowded during certain times of the day. Like all Getgos, you can use your Giant Eagle advantage card to redeem your fuel perks or knock $.03 off the price per gallon you are paying. Payment at the pump by credit card is also accepted. This Getgo has been my go to place the majority of time I need gas and will continue to use them.

The food items were gorgeous, delightfully Pittsburgh themed, fresh, and delicious. The hand-painted wine glass is whimsical and so well done. We place an order for deliver prior to Christmas - the order was guaranteed to be delivered on December 23. We never received tracking information for the order and reached out to them on December 21. We did receive an immediate response noting that they were unable to log into their system remotely and since it was after hours would get a response to us the next day. CRICKETS - never heard a peep. Reached out again via text on December 24 - CRICKETS! Never heard a peep.... Well, on December 26 we received notice that the order shipped.... Glad they had our money for a week given the credit card was charged when the order was placed; however our gift never arrived to the recipient until after Christmas, and there was zero communication that there was a delay. We at normally not ones to complain publicly about a small business; however do expect communication. Had they reached out to let us know there was an issue, we would have fully understood and been more than happy to explain the situation to the recipient. BUT with no communication we had no idea if the gift was on the way - if it was late - if it would never arrive and we were scammed out of $200. Communication is key! This CVS is located close to where I live and is my preferred store when I need to get my…read moreprescriptions or buy things in general. As an extra care card member which is free I'm able to get discounts on various merchandise throughout the store. I also get discounts via email. This location is smaller than some of them since they don't have a "minute clinic" inside. The pharmacy does offer vaccines including CoVid and will accept most insurances. They sell grocery store items, stationery, computer accessories, makeup, dental care and pretty much your usual run of the mill stuff. Expect to pay more here than at a regular grocery store however, if you can snag one of their coupons then it is worth the savings. You also can get "rewards" in the form of "extra bucks" which can also bring down the cost. Like so many other stores there are a bunch of empty shelves due to supply chain issues. The pharmacy does offer home delivery and automatic refill if you have an active prescription. The pharmacist is on hand to answer any questions you may have. Please note that the pharmacy's is closed from 12:30-1:00 daily for lunch. They also have drive in pharmacy services if you prefer to wait in your car. There is plenty of parking available in their lot. Located on Steuben St and Foster Ave, it sits near the Crafton Ingram shopping center.

Brian asked me if I needed help finding anything I showed him the photo he let me know it was probably in one of their boxes of shipment and that he would find it for me. And I left with it! He was so helpful and nice!
