I remember coming here as a child when it was Gabriel Brothers and they owned the space right next to it (at the time was the outlet section owned by them). I also remember sidewalk sales at the end of each season. I'm not sure of the ownership details, but Gabe's has become a lot like TJ Max and Marshall's in set up, reconstruction, the rewards program, and pricing in some aspects. Throughout all the changes over the years, this location has remained my favorite. I like the one in Monroeville, but I always thought this one had a better selection and organization iveralCaring and fun employees. Awesome prices. Always a wonderful selection of name brand items. Forever "shockingly low prices"; it's not just the motto people--IT'S TRUE! I got a thick Banana Republic sweater cardigan for $7.99!!! I also got navy over-the-knee boots for $16.99!!! Like you just can't beat it. In the past couple years, Gabe's started a rewards program. At first, I was like 'whatever'. But I've come to enjoy it and use. Why? Because it brings you coupons!!! Yesterday I received a coupon for $15 off $50+ purchase. So in conclusion, if you want great deals and you're willing to be patient enough to sometimes have to look for them, then Gabe's is the place for you. I will say that these clothes racks could use some organization as many items are just thrown on the racks based on category. For example, one rack may have various types dresses on it including work dresses, day dresses, and evening dresses all at different prices and no more than 5 of the same dress if that. But this also makes the hunt more fun!

I live in Pittsburgh, 5 blocks from a French bakery. The bread at this location's shop n save is absolutely comparable and honestly better! I cannot believe how amazing the baked goods like rolls, donuts, and fresh pastries are here. It is mind blowing! Every time I'm in town I'm sure to visit and pick up something from the bakery to take home and freeze. My parents ordered fruit baskets for Christmas for my partner's family that was coming in from D.C. We opened it up and all of the fruit was perfectly fresh, beautifully arranged, and a perfect range of differing items. I couldn't believe how packed the basket was! When my partner's kid came over the first thing she did was eat an apple out of the basket because of how delish it looked. I don't know why this location is getting bad reviews, I've been to bad grocery stores and this one is not it. I live half a mile from Trader Joe's, and the produce is crap, once you fight through the crowds. Forget fresh baked goods. Same with Whole Foods, I'm over spending a huge amount of money once I found out that half of their baked goods are frozen. That's once you can fight for parking and get through the lazy crowds. We will continue to get awesome gift baskets here, and I'm going to be sure to always visit the bakery. Kudos to the managers.

Cheaper than Giant Eagle. Easier to navigate than Walmart. Less sketchy than Save a Lot. I don't know if you can find super gourmet options here, but the produce seems decent, the meat counter's all right, and the frozen section is well-stocked. A lot of sales are pretty good. I can't get super enthusiastic about shopping here, but it's probably where I'll find myself getting groceries most often for a while.
