Don't get me wrong, they do have some cool finds too. You just have to dig a little deeper. I like their drinking games and kitchen towels. I say this is where all the stuff that people don't want go to die because it's kinda true. Lol. If you look hard enough, you may find a good score on something you want at a fraction of the cost! It's a little hit and miss with regard to what you can find, but it's a great little spot for discounted clothing, shoes, housewares and cosmetics. I come here occasionally to see if I can find deals on stuff like kids shoes and clothes. Usually we got pretty lucky when we stop in, especially with the shoes. You have to do a little bit of digging and the shoe section can be a bit of a mess, but they do have major brands which are deeply discounted. I would definitely recommend Macy's Backstage, it's kind of like Macy's own version of T.J Maxx or Marshall's. Worth checking out if you are doing some shopping in the Boca area!

The lady at the cash register was not really a very customer focused employee...I saw how she treated the customers in front of me and it was just the bare basic human communication as payment was exchanged for merchandise. When it got to be my turn, she had the longest face and the most unfriendly attitude. So I stopped into Boca Cove Shoe to see if they could glue it better. When I stopped in the other day I was somewhat surprised that it was busy. The counter was full of mostly fancy girl shoes for repair. The nice lady with a bit of sass at the counter offered a better idea. "You know we could just sew them on and it would be much better". I had tried that at a dry cleaners but the said they couldn't do it. Well I said heck yeah. Cut to about a week or so later and I popped in. I was beyond happy. The bag looked so sharp, so professional that I was on cloud nine. We are going to 2 more parks this year, so it looks like I will be back very soon.

I didn't keep the receipt as I planned on keeping it as I knew I would use it too. I thought I was a good deal at this outlet but be careful as they are crooks. I had noticed the box was open, but since everything was there, I didn't worry and I happily wrapped it up for Christmas. As life gets busy, my boyfriend hasn't had time to use the massager so I went to try and charge it for him last night and that's when I realized that it was completely the wrong charger for the machine. I guess that someone else returned it, the store didn't check if everything was returned correctly, they put it back on the shelf, and I purchased it. Of course, this is very upsetting as it's not cheap and this was my big present for my boyfriend so now I have a massager that I cannot use in any way. I went back to the store to see if they can help me. I expressed this to the owner's wife and the other lady at the store, explaining everything in a nice way (my mother always taught me that you get more with honey.) In this case, the owner's wife thought it was OK to raise her voice at me and talk to me the entire way in a loud, reprimanding voice and repeating that I did not have a receipt. I understand I don't have a receipt but for a store to accept something returned prior that was incomplete and then turn around to resell it is unacceptable. I initially agreed to leave the massager there and come back tomorrow to see if they found another charger as the other lady was helpful. But since I didn't have the receipt, I thought maybe I should go back and ask the owner's wife just to write something that I left it there as proof for me. Right when I walked back in, I tried calmly asking her this, with a smile, and she continued to raise her voice at me, and tell me that she was going to call the cops that I was attacking her. Well, the owner can look at the camera and see the truth, that the way his wife treats his customers is completely rude and unacceptable. Maybe I could understand if I went in there screaming and such, but in the manner that I came in and explain led my situation, there was no reason for her loud and rude behavior when they were the ones that did not check their returned merchandise. They don't keep back stock of more sizes. What you see is what you get. Positive-Runway looks for a lot less from the original price. Their handbags selection has gone down with the variety. I appreciate their shoe collection a lot more. Their clothing area is ok, never bought from them because I don't have the patience to look for things in how they are on the racks. Their home furnishings are nice and I've bought different kitchen essentials from here. The store is usually kept up with organized areas throughout. But in holiday time like most stores, it's a hot mess in the evening times. I've generally found more items when I have gone just when they opened for the day. ~

Everything was reasonably priced, especially on the clearance rack. I'm sorry if consigners had bad experiences, but this customer had an excellent one and will be returning.

ALSO, it says you have to call on certain days of the month to "check the status of your account" and so I did that on the first month and the guy who answered said "yes, you have sold some things" I said "ok, thats it?" He said "Thats it" so I didn't call the next month because I was out of the country, never received a check for the following months. I wouldn't consign ANYTHING at this store, you are much better off donating it and getting a tax write off. When I purchased a pair of Oakley glasses from Consignment Exchange, I wore one time and the tint on the glasses peeled off. I paid $100- for them at the C.E. and when I took them to the Oakley store they said they weren't real Oakley's. Won't shop there or sell there ever!
