August 27th the installation was completed in both bedrooms and they look great! They take their time, give advice, and try to work within your budget and your wants. They actually talked us out of getting a more expensive window treatment option and I am so glad we listened! We placed our order and they measured our windows. We received a discount for being repeat customers and a few other discounts here and there - which is always appreciated. We were quoted 6-7 weeks out but to our surprise our window treatments were ready in about 4 weeks. Bill was our installer and he was just as helpful and professional. He kept us in the loop on when he could come out and where he was the day of our install. A door wall and 6 bedroom windows only took about 45 minutes to install. Very happy with the results and it is so nice to have good quality blinds that will last - they also offer a lifetime warranty! I'd recommend time-and-time again - great product and great company.

I mentioned how familiar all the props seemed from when I used to visit a little magic shop in Ferndale in the 1970s owned by Romeg the Magician and then Poof! As if by magic they pointed to a photo behind the counter and told me that this store was in fact the second reincarnation of that very magical place from my childhood, transported to Clawson 40 years later. What an amazing coincidence that I should take my nephews to buy tricks at the same place that made me fall in love with prestidigitation all those years ago. I bet that some of the items lining the walls were actually the same props from all those years ago. If you love magic this is the place to go.

I ordered a couch from Jugo on April 7, 2013. I spoke with Georg, the owner, the next day and he confirmed the item was in stock and that it would ship within 10 days. Over the course of the next several weeks I was given several expected arrival dates by Georg but the couch never showed up. After a long and frustrating experience trying to track it down, I finally moved to cancel my order on May 8. I was told I would receive a refund within 2 business days. 1 week later, I still had not received a refund. I was told by Georg that it was just processed and would be available within 2 more business days. It is now May 23 and I have still not received a reimbursement nor have I received any further communication from Georg. Working with Jugo has been one of the worst consumer experiences of my life. I ended up having to file a complaint with the BBB in order to get refunded. I have email documentation of this entire terrible experience. It is unfortunate that people like Jugo take advantage of consumers. They owe my over $2K.

There was something about the outstanding reviews of Crown Custom Clothing that drew me in. I decided to bring a bridesmaid dress here that was probably 2 1/2 sizes too big. The dress is strapless and had a mini train that I wanted cut to match the rest of the dress length. When we first got there, Mohammad wasn't there so I started to get nervous with the other worker. He was trying to pin the dress to fit me and it just wasn't working out. I could tell he was getting frustrated with pins popping out everywhere and it seemed that he didn't work much with dresses. He ended up calling Mohammad and put him on the phone with me. Mohammad said that he was on his way and would be there shortly to take care of everything. The minute he walked in the door I felt at ease. You could just tell he knew what he was doing. He also gave me a discount for waiting. I was already going to give him a yelp coupon, but it was a nice gesture anyway. He had my dress altered and steamed exactly 2 weeks later. I tried the dress on which fit PERFECTLY. It felt like a custom made dress and looked beautiful. He did a wonderful job. I also wanted to comment on how friendly Mohammad was. I brought my husband and 3 year old son both times and he engaged my son both days. That obviously had nothing to do with his craftmanship but it always makes for a more pleasant experience when people are happy and friendly. I would definitely recommend this business. I can't speak for how he tailors custom suits but I do plan on taking my husband back there for a custom suit in the future. I highly recommend Mohammad and will take my business there again.
