It is super great to be able to buy boutique items without having to wait for it to come online. The store is set up super cute with tons of options for both boys and girls. I wish it had been around when my daughter was younger, I would have been in there all of the time. The staff is super friendly always! They are always willing to help out and do everything they can for us while we are there. They also have an adorable build a stuffed animal section (Similar to Build A Bear) which is reasonably priced with tons of options from different sizes and styles of animals to different outfits you can purchase for them! My friend's daughters and my daughter had a blast picking out new friends. I highly suggest it if you don't want to go all the way to the mall and pay loads more. Check out their items, they're totally worth it!

So, shopping at the Big Rapids location and I'm pretty appalled actually. I came in to do some…read moreshopping for sugar free/carb free cake that I'm making for a friend of mine's daughter. You know, kids have it hard enough these days but when you add in ANY type of illness it just makes it that much worse! So I'm hoping to make a beautiful and tasty cake for this young lady turning 13, whose friends regularly eat sugar filled cake. Of course Meijer doesn't sell these cakes and I'm not a professional baker but if I were I would certainly try to accommodate my customers if I didn't carry something they needed. Long story semi short... you can't SELL a cake board and plastic cover to a customer who is making something you don't? Really? First off way to fail at customer service! Second, I HATE Walmart but at least I can buy a plastic/cardboard cake plate from them!! Update: Meijer contacted me and apologized for this encounter. They stated normally they would not sell their supplies but in certain cases a team lead should be consulted. He stated in this case they would have sold me one cake board and dome. I really appreciate that they did this and they also stated they would bring this up with the staff working that day to clarify. In either case, I still made this girls cake and it turned out great!

He was super friendly, honest, was there when we needed him and gave us space when we needed to think about things. We set up a delivery and the gentlemen who came were Zeke and Carlos. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Also very strong, they couldn't quite make it up our long driveway so had to carry our furniture a good bit of way to the house. They handled our furniture with care and also didn't let the extra work of carrying our furniture get in the way of their friendly demeanor. They also took our old furniture out of the house for us and carried a rocking chair to the basement. Overall excellent customer service from the time we walked through the barn doors to the time the delivery guys left our house. We got a great deal on nice furniture, I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing to purchase furniture.

They may be great, but I don't need to be told to call and jump thru the hoops of some salesperson just to get a price. I am already considering over an hour drive to go get a recliner. I would like to have more than just a catalog picture. Price as well as what fabric options before I burn a tank of gas to get there. Now they may have a wonderful staff and service. I do not know yet. The website and it's lack of information on the pieces I was interested in and the "call for best price" and "request more information" forms to be emailed what I need to know (and giving them my email address in the process) was enough to put me off. Until that changes, I will look elsewhere.

They told me that they would give me a call to let me know how much the repair would be for this little tiny clasp. Ok. A week later I get a call that my necklace has been repaired and the cost is $88! They had never called to get my approval. So, I go in to pick up my necklace. Well, guess what? Somehow the chain got LONGER. Did they replace the clasp or give me a different chain in a switch? I complained. They just said "sorry". Fast forward 6 weeks or so and I get a call, I think her name was Kathy. She said "I understand you had a problem with your repair?". I explained. She said "We will send you a $50 gift card". I dont want a gift card. I explained further the issue with the necklace and not calling me to inform me of the cost. She says " Would you prefer a REFUND of the $88?". I said yes and gave her my address. Today, we received a GIFT CARD in the mail for Roger's Jewlery. that is NOT a refund.
