Before you go here, go with the understanding that it is hit or miss! They get shipments all the time full of clothing, household goods, kitchen equipment, decor, stationary, etc. Many of the items are from Target. Not sure if it's because of the close proximity or if that is just one of their main sources. I have personally had some amazing finds here including: a Emile Henry spoon rest for $3, a ten piece set of green pots and pans $68, 16oz McCormick vanilla extract $11 The store is definitely quirky. They have a lot of pre work clothes -- like consignment. They have lots of brand new never been worn clothes too though. They have high end baby items. Lots of children's toys too. The store is large and well organized, but it's a little bit of a warehouse feel. The people that work there are pretty nice, I became friendly with a girl named Cori she was so sweet. I didn't feel like I was getting much of a discount. There's a sign that states no picture taking of merchandise, I get it, basically you're only saving $1 or 2, when if you bought it at the store the food would be further away from the expiration date. Taking pictures would show proof of that. In my picture you see a Rao's marinara sauce at Walmart for 6.98, it was 6.99 at Bargain Max. Again the people are nice! But the prices just aren't what I consider a bargain.

The women's clothing section is dull except for coats. They have a large stock of down-type coats. I found one for $17.99! This was an exceptional value as I don't wear a full-length coat often. It is for an outdoor sporting event I will soon attend. After that, it is okay to hang in my closet. The infant clothing and shoe selections are varied. I usually purchase something here as well. The 4/5 stars are service. When I turned to get in line, it took 30 minutes to check out. I chose to wait since I found the items I came in for.

It's like a flea market. They have some core items but you really never know what you're going to find. Whether it's hoses and auto parts or Easter-themed snickers bars or a bunch of kitchen appliances, it's here today and gone tomorrow. Shelves are stocked a little haphazardly and random. The store is divided into sections but the stuff on the shelves can be a little odd. And that's okay. Take your time, walk each aisle and I am very sure that you will find interesting stuff. I didn't know what I didn't know and I walked out with $20 worth of things that it turns out that I really needed. [Review 12595 overall, 2387 of 2019.]

Recently I was surprised to see a very nice massage chair for sale, and the beauty section was nice! I saw some dupes of popular Truly body butters and creams as well as hair products by TGIN, Shea Moisture and Carol's Daughter - all reasonably priced if course. The bathroom accessories were lacking though, very few bath jars and soap dispensers and hardly any shower curtain hooks, which I needed. Could be due to supply chain issues.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE…read more I shop at this store alot and I will never come back. I came to return a pair of pants that I purchased at the store yesterday. At first, the cashier #9 asked the cashier #11the item not show in the system then the #11 (lady name start with S, i forgot her name) told me that the pants did not belong to the store because the tag was not showing in the system. She then suggested that I may have done something to the tag, asked me to show her where did i get it. I showed her and she said it no supposed to be in this rack and told me that she might need to check the store's camera footage. I said go head an check it, i was here yesterday at 1 pm. And she kept telling me "look, this tag is old and we do not carried Men Zara in this store". I told her that I did not know about the old tag and i didnt do anything, i bought alot of Zara for my husband in this store, and she kept telling again, we not carried Men Zara. I was very uncomfortable and upset by the way this was communicated to me. I had purchased the pants at this store just one day earlier, and I felt like I was being accused of doing something wrong. After looking at the item again, she eventually confirmed that the pants did match the tag. I understand that employees need to verify returns, but I believe there was a much more respectful and professional way to handle the situation. She returned the item for me but she DID NOT say SORRY or anything. I WILL NEVER COME BACK!

Men's and women's clothes as well as children's take up about 1/4 of the store. They are not name brand fashions by any means, but for casual clothes & underwear, you can find a lot at very economical prices. Plenty of accessories for whatever season we are in. The middle & back are houseware-type items, and plenty to choose from. I have gotten great kitchen rugs, towels and chair cushions before. Lots of kitchen containers & fry and sauce pans, too. Even some of the "As seen on tv" items! There is a small pet department, along with an equally small automotive section. No problem - about what you might need in a pinch, or a quick store run on a weekend. Just the basics. Go further and you have toys and Seasonal. They had plenty of Christmas odds & ends when it came to lights and decorations. A small electronics section carries headphones & ear buds, and small speakers. Heading towards the cashier's you will pass the Health & Beauty Aids section which carries just about anything you might need. And of course the "quickie snack" section. They usually have cool Seasonal treats if you are looking for neat stocking stuffers!

It's the allure of their goods, but the comedown is hard! Courtesy of their ridiculously long lines. Every visit seems to bring a new associate in training, making me seriously question their turnover--a telling sign of potential worker issues. Despite these perpetual staffing puzzles, my cart inevitably overflows with products for my coily hair and laundry detergents--two of my weaknesses. So it's a regular Thursday, and $124.00 later, I write this. Skip ROSES for fashion. But come for home essentials at a low cost. I've been a customer for over seven years. While lines are [always] too long, associates are generally friendly and try hard. I do get the vibe that returns might be tricky, though I could be mistaken. Overall, ROSES remains a good stop for budget-conscious shoppers. Just be mindful that while individual items are low, those low prices have a way of adding up quickly.
