I was very upset first of all because I was there trying to buy some items when my daughter had to use the restroom, she's 10 years old, I went to the lady in the front and asked her if she had a key to the bathroom and she said I had to go knock on the door to speak to the manager for permission. Mind you she was the only one at the register and the line was already getting long. In any case I knocked on the door and asked if my daughter could use the restroom, and she said the restroom is closed. I said but it's for my daughter it's not even for me, she said again. The restroom is closed but more with a tone like she was mad, I just stood there for a minute and walked out of there pretty pissed. I told my bf and my other son we needed to go bc the manager said the restroom is closed. By then the lines were already long and there was only one person at the register. She looked like she needed to rest. I don't know what the managers problem was. It happened today around 6-7pm. I didn't bother to argue or contest her. I ended up taking my daughter to the boba place in the same shopping center at the end of the plaza. We were there earlier and bought some boba. In any case . It was horrible customer service on the managers part as well as her management in the store by only having 1 lady on the register with a long line. Why was she even in the office when she should have been helping her colleague clear the lines. Or walking the store? Not a very good time to take break or a lunch if that was the case. Also never ended up buying the toilet paper I needed from my house ironically. My bf just left if by the register and we all walked out. Also she was a white girl with short hair and I reading the below complaints after writing this I had to edit it. I'm not the only one. This needs to be escalated read more

Unfortunately I need to give this location a two-star rating because when I asked to use the restroom I was simply told they were closed. They have signage indicating they're available for a customer use, which I was, but they refused to allow me to use them. I put my items back and left the location. Lost sale due to poor customer service. read more

Dollar Tree - Discount Store Near Me - Bell, California

Customer service at this location needs improvement. I have been trying to contact the store since Wednesday, October 29, regarding my visit that day, but I have not been able to reach anyone. Dollar Tree used to be a reliable & quick stop for affordable items. However, this location consistently has long lines and the cashiers are not always friendly. During my last visit, the lines were long, the store had run out of plastic bags, and I was double-charged for an item I only bought one of. Since no bags were available, I had to make several trips to carry my items, and in between trips someone might have accidentally taken one of my items. Unfortunately, I don't realize it until I got home. it was super frustrating after a long day of work to realize that and items that I needed was not available for me to use. I have called the store multiple times at various hours, but no one ever answers. I understand staffing can be an issue, but there should be someone available to answer calls, or at least an answering machine to leave messages. I need a clear response on whether I can pick up my missing item or receive a refund. How should I resolve this situation? This level of service is not okay. read more

Worse store ever! one lady taking on a line that went all the way back and around the store with a "manager" ON SITE not once did she go out to help or even ask the lady Rosie at the store if she needed help, the whole time she was stuck in her office ask the lady in the register to call her for me case I wanted to talk to her n she didn't come out at all, I even went to the door and knocked and she would not come out, I saw her coming out when Rosie needed help with the register and she helped and went back in I tried to get her attention and nothing she should be fire and definitely not be manager at all cause it's obviously she has no clue what that tittle means she was a white girl with short color hair very unprofessional of her I would be filing a complain with personal over her district manager or someone because this girl needs to be fire ASAP read more

I'm usually not the type to be sassy or escalate a situation unless I'm matching energies. Today, a worker by the name of Vero(I think) in a condescending tone asked me to make sure that next time I used the dividers. Since her tone was off, I replied that the dividers were by her, at the end of the belt, where we couldn't see them, that if they wished we used them they should move them to the beginning of the belt-none of us had used one. She proceeded to state that regardless of where they're put people don't use them, assuming I wouldn't, then proceeded to state that she would make sure to put them towards the beginning for ME next time (sarcastically). I told her I wouldn't be back and she sarcastically thanked me. At that point I realized she wasn't worried about customer service, as multiple people were seeing this interaction, I asked her for a supervisor or manager and she stated she was alone and they were at lunch. Management needs to keep a closer look at their employees as this is extremely poor customer service, additionally having people wait 10+ minutes to pay because there is only one cashier is also lack of customer service, as this is not ideal. I'll keep my word and stay away from this location since they want to be sarcastic and have the worst customer service. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and I'm failing to understand why there's always only 1 cashier for checkout. This location is extremely busy and there's always a crowd from open to close. It's a waste of time for us customers who are coming in for basic things and end up 30 minutes in a line due to poor management. I'm sure workers are well aware of the horrible line problem but it might not be their fault. I'd suggest to go to those bootleg dollar stores or a different dollar tree if possible. read more

Talk to RUBI late night cashier. She was extremely rude. I understand people are tired from working but it's not an excuse to mistreat people! She had a nasty attitude when I asked if they had bags. She said " I would've asked if we had some" with some much hate like what the hell??? No need to say that. You guys should fire HER!!! read more

It's a typical Dollar store it could use a little more thorough cleaning up but has decent product selection there were some teenage boys in there with their backpacks on that they kept yelling at over the loud speaker in Spanish I did notice that every time the loud speaker was used to make an announcement that it was only said in Spanish that was a little frustrating as I don't speak Spanish and couldn't understand what was being said and if it was of any importance. Had a full shopping cart full of items went to check out was a little busy I think there was one or two other registers open besides the one we were online for and we had one person in front of us but they were almost checking out then we unloaded our items and there was a girl that came behind us in line and only had one thing in her hands I think baby wipes or something and I told her she could go in front of us since she only had one item of course and our cashier said no she can't do that that she's about to go on her tour lunch break and we are her last customers and we can't let her cut in front of us which I understand all about regulations and lunch breaks but it was one item I should have just paid for it myself now that I think about it so the poor girl had to move lines and stand in the back of a long line that was forming since this girl turned her light off there needs to be some sort of different kind of policy when it comes to lunch breaks especially if somebody just has one item or maybe a register for just 10 items or less would be better I think just my two cents read more

The place is actually clean and organized. I went to 4 dollar trees and the one in Bell was the best one.

Francis the cashier who assisted me today was very nice even after the customer before me was less than pleasant with her. The Dollar Tree is a very convenient store to come buy bargain friendly decorations for the holidays. I come here to buy decorations for the office and home. They always have new cute products every year so it's a good thing to come and check out the new items. Even though the store was a little messy you can still find what you're looking for. I didn't interact much with staff and the cashier wasn't very talkative which is good when you don't want to have a conversation. The best thing about the Dollar Tree is you can buy the foil balloons for a dollar and can get a whole bunch. read more

Dear Dollar Tree of Maywood or Bell California your store needs improvement. This is store when I go inside does not look organized or sanitary. The whole store smells too. The floor looks dirty too. The Rug too. The stuff that this Dollar Tree sells isn't like the other ones I know. this doesn't have much stuff. Also please pay your workers more well and don't make them wear Dollar tree collared shirts. This is America we need to be more fashionable and we live in a golden state for crying out loud. We shouldn't be wearing uniforms !!! They are human beings too. Plus treat them right and well if you want them to control themselves and do their job right. Learn more manners managers. The isles look unorganized. Tell the people to respect the store as well and they will understand. The outside of the store also looks so Dirty. Please hire someone or the city to clean the sidewalks. vaccum the store ,clean the whole store floor with chlorox or something. Clean the whole store inside to kill all the bad bacteria. read more

Very good customer service, very informative and open to help me. I will return to this store.

My experience with dollar tree is usually either a hit or miss. I love this location and the one off of Alameda X Florence. They have very nice things and the "go-backs" are very few. Both these locations have very clean aisles and both are a nice enough size that you'll be able to find what your looking for. I just bought drawer liners, cereal containers (BPA FREE/Microwave Safe/Dishwasher and Freezer Safe). If I bought these at Walmart I would of had to pay $10 for a 2-pack! To be honest I still need to buy more before my pantry looks the way I want it to look hahaha All I know is that I'm saving money and getting the look I wanted without feeling like I bought something cheap and it looks cheap. It looks DAMM good. Obviously not everything at dollar tree looks great but if you take the time to shop you'll find things that are as good if not better than the big-boxed stores like Walmart. read more

I love this store! It's much smaller than the 99 cent store, but you can still find everything you would there. Things I love: 1. their huge candy & baked goods selection 2. their gift wrap & gift bag selection 3. their holiday decorations. It's only downfall, there is usually only one person at the register and you might be waiting in line for awhile. If you don't mind waiting in line, the deals are perfect. They've also added a nice selection of frozen foods and dairy products. read more

Rude employees. If you hate your job find something better. It's not even the posted closing time and they are announcing in Spanish that they were closing over and over like if I didn't know even tho they told me as I walked in. I was just looking for a specific item in stationary which they did not carry. Then they announced in English not even seconds after the last Spanish announcement that if I don't bring my items right now they won't charge me. So I yelled out bitch and walked out being the only one in the store they knew how I felt about them. If they don't care I don't care. Even as I wrote this review it wasn't even closing time. read more

Two posts regarding inexpensive stores... talk about cheap a** right? LOL. Who can blame me? I love bargains!! Anyhow, like my previous 99 cents post, I have nothing but good things to say about this place too. When I can't find what I'm looking for at 99 Cents Store, I come to this one. Their store is not as big as some of the ones I've seen but they have some great stuff. I usually come here for their gift wraps, gift bags and their helium balloons. They also have a lot of cute holiday decorations and some awesome/cute wine glasses for a buck! (I'll post a pic later). Most of the time they only have one register open, so be prepared to wait in line for some minutes. read more

Went to dollar tree yesterday and the cashier was really nice and helpful there was no long lines

I love coming here. The employees are nice, the store always seems clean (which is why I prefer coming here instead of the .99 store across the street), and they have pretty descent items. The toilet paper and paper towels, for being a $1 worth, is pretty soft and the quality seems pretty darn good. I love the toilet paper! 4 rolls for a $1. The only thing I have an issue with is sometimes when I need something specifically, they always seem to run out :/ . What a darn bad coincidence. Oh well. I still love coming here. Money is right right now and coming here is a blessing as we can mostly get all our basic necessities. I also use this store as a reward for my kids when they collect stars from their chore chart. I bring them here to redeem them. $1 worth equated to 4 sticker stars. They love it! read more

This store has the worst customer service and let's not talk about the Manager " SHE'S IS NO HELP"!!!! The cashier JULIE is terrible!!!!! I'm so disgusted by this store and by this human being. If your child is special needs please don't feel the need to justify your child's safety to them. I went in to purchase some snacks for my nephews after leaving the park. And they had there bikes with them! I fully understand kids should not be riding NO BIKES INSIDE THE STORE!!! But this was not my case my nephews were waiting at the door, off there bikes while holding on to them while we grabbed some chips & sodas. As I walked away they where kicking them out the store!!! Without calling the parents!!!! Keep in mind!!! They're CHILDREN!!! And I told the Cashier Julie " Are you fully responsible if my nephews get kid napped if they step outside and she of course kept quiet and called her Useless Manager that of course is an embarrassment to your company. I could of explain the situation to why my nephews could not step outside or be left out of sight but I have every right to protect his medical diagnose and I have paper work to prove his disability.
