I found useful items like silicon mat, trivets, craft supplies, pillows, and miscellaneous items. There's a giant "Do Not Open" sign hanging, but there's a box opening station with knives towards the front of the store where you can open the boxes. Many if not all the items are from Amazon, so you can read the description on the stickers to look up details on Amazon website or app. This was helpful to know more about the item, especially if the box is not opened. None of the items I purchased were damaged or missing pieces. If you come on the last day (Wed. $1), expect to see a crowd of people combing through the bins. You can still find great bargains on the last day, albeit you'll find better items in the beginning of the sale cycle (Fri-Sun). Household items for cleaning or anything else. The prices are cheap for most things. Hispanic and Latino owned business. It mostly caters to this population that lives around here. There's lots of items in Spanish but most are in English too. Find cheap liters of pop for a buck. There's also snacks like big bags of nuts for a dollar or more. Cleaning supplies and other household goods can be found. These are mostly for cooking and kitchens. Credit cards are mostly accepted. It has surprisingly good stuff even though it's cheap. There's a small parking lot but it's shared with a bank so be careful to be in the right spot or you could be towed.

Warehouse 55 is a collection of vintage items and repurposed furnishings mixed with many one of a kind treasures. Here you will find old and new..something for every aesthetic . Over 2 stories of various vendors..prices vary depending on the product . A nice feature they offer is if you are undecided and get home,you can shop many of the items online by vendor or product. They also sell the very high priced stuff online, but there's still plenty of great stuff in the store itself. The bathrooms are old but super clean and not creepy like in some places. There are real antiques, beautiful furniture, art works, plastic storage tubs, all kinds of glassware, figurines, etc. Don't listen to the complainers. I am very disappointed with the management/ownership at Discount Bros lately. I have had 4 items…read morethat I purchased via their auction and when I drove the 45 miles to their Bolingbrook location the item wasn't there... What is going on behind the scenes? Just this Sunday, Nov. 9th I purchase a wagon for $120 for my granddaughter and when I went there the employee brought out a folding chair??? It had the correct tag on the it from the item/date of purchase. As I mentioned, this has happed to me 4 times now. I know many people are praising them for getting a good deal...Not such a good deal when they don't have your item when you go there to pick it up... Get your act together please... The employees in the front of the house are AWESOME! I always give them a tip for going in the back and getting my items. They always have a smile on their faces and try very hard. It stinks for them when they bring me out the wrong item... Then the lines continue to grow out the door and the customers look like they want to rip someone's head off... Better late than never for this review. 3/10/22 I purchased 3 bags of "Portside Raw Shrimp 40-60…read morecount" that was listed on sale, typed on a blue 8x11(?) sized sheet for $6.49. I wasn't feeling well so I didn't pay attention to what it actually rung up. I just knew it seemed kind of high. When I arrived home, I saw I was charged regular price of $7.99. I immediately called and told what happened. Because I wasn't feeling well, she said I could return it on Saturday if I still wasn't feeling well the next day which was a Friday. When I did arrive that Saturday, the young lady knew me by my beginning statement of why I was there. Well, long story short the manager there, a male, not only did he say what I said wasn't true but he acted as though I was an annoyance. He also walked away from me, while I was speaking, still stating proof of what was displayed on that day. I went home, got the shrimp and returned it as I told him I would. I then called and reported the incident to corporate. Now, I've spent more money on cooked and raw shrimp; that's nothing new to me. This was the principle of the matter. You know something, I went to Walmart that day and found the same amount of shrimp for $6.59. Awesome! My mom still received the dinner I wanted to make for her. I'll also add that, whether Save-a-lot cares or not, they've lost my business, my mom's and 2 of my neighbors' after I told them what happened. My neighbors said they've had issues with them in the past. I'll also tell others. It's only because of this guy that I refuse to return, which is a shame because I like the convenience of shopping there when it's right on my work to and from work and close to home when I just need to get something.
