I found useful items like silicon mat, trivets, craft supplies, pillows, and miscellaneous items. There's a giant "Do Not Open" sign hanging, but there's a box opening station with knives towards the front of the store where you can open the boxes. Many if not all the items are from Amazon, so you can read the description on the stickers to look up details on Amazon website or app. This was helpful to know more about the item, especially if the box is not opened. None of the items I purchased were damaged or missing pieces. If you come on the last day (Wed. $1), expect to see a crowd of people combing through the bins. You can still find great bargains on the last day, albeit you'll find better items in the beginning of the sale cycle (Fri-Sun). Household items for cleaning or anything else. The prices are cheap for most things. Hispanic and Latino owned business. It mostly caters to this population that lives around here. There's lots of items in Spanish but most are in English too. Find cheap liters of pop for a buck. There's also snacks like big bags of nuts for a dollar or more. Cleaning supplies and other household goods can be found. These are mostly for cooking and kitchens. Credit cards are mostly accepted. It has surprisingly good stuff even though it's cheap. There's a small parking lot but it's shared with a bank so be careful to be in the right spot or you could be towed.

I wasn't feeling well so I didn't pay attention to what it actually rung up. I just knew it seemed kind of high. When I arrived home, I saw I was charged regular price of $7.99. I immediately called and told what happened. Because I wasn't feeling well, she said I could return it on Saturday if I still wasn't feeling well the next day which was a Friday. When I did arrive that Saturday, the young lady knew me by my beginning statement of why I was there. Well, long story short the manager there, a male, not only did he say what I said wasn't true but he acted as though I was an annoyance. He also walked away from me, while I was speaking, still stating proof of what was displayed on that day. I went home, got the shrimp and returned it as I told him I would. I then called and reported the incident to corporate. Now, I've spent more money on cooked and raw shrimp; that's nothing new to me. This was the principle of the matter. You know something, I went to Walmart that day and found the same amount of shrimp for $6.59. Awesome! My mom still received the dinner I wanted to make for her. I'll also add that, whether Save-a-lot cares or not, they've lost my business, my mom's and 2 of my neighbors' after I told them what happened. My neighbors said they've had issues with them in the past. I'll also tell others. It's only because of this guy that I refuse to return, which is a shame because I like the convenience of shopping there when it's right on my work to and from work and close to home when I just need to get something.
