Nice and pleasant music. Entering, the store was stocked well and was being stocked! Two managers were in the produce section immediately to my right and one of them I caught eyes with. She spoke immediately and made me feel welcomed! Throughout the store, most of the staff spoke when I passed by. They apologized for the carts being in the aisle or in the way. It wasn't a big deal. Walmart Neighborhood Market is their entry to compete with straight up grocery stores. Unlike Supercenters, the Neighborhood Market doesn't have Tire & Lube or Vision or a nail salon. They have a very few things in the dry goods department and a full pharmacy plus the usual grocery departments. That's about it. The store is tidy and pretty decently stocked. I had no trouble finding the half dozen or so things on the list. Prices were clearly marked on nearly everything. The store is well laid out. I still won't buy dairy, produce or meats from Walmart but the frozen was fine and the canned goods and spices are good. Beer was about the usual price. Prices are very competitive. The parking lot was tidy and there were very few carts needing to be brought in. Masks are required and there is an associate checking people in and out to ensure that they are not over capacity. All of the open registers appear to be self checkout. I did not see anyone actually working a register. If you're looking for more service, there's always Harris Teeter or Food Lion or Publix. Aisle are currently clear of stock cart with exception to end of asile in back, and the back aisle toward stock room. I'm not completely sure, but aisle seem narrower. Registers are now to left of entrance. Looks like could be an issue for customer trying to check out, standing and blocking others from going around aisle. The store looks cleaner. Overall it is presently nicer, but will it stay like this? Let's hope so.

I received a formal offer letter and start date from the hiring team. After that, I was told my background check through First Advantage needed additional processing time. That process took nearly three weeks. During that time, I stayed in consistent contact. The final week, communication stopped completely. No updates. No clear answer. No start date. I had already left my previous job based on the written offer. It has now been over a month and a half. I am currently behind on rent and bills because I relied on a position that never materialized. When I called for clarification, I was told the manager who handled my onboarding is no longer with the company. Since then, my calls have not been returned. If a company chooses not to move forward with a candidate, that is their decision. But professionalism requires communication. A clear yes or no shows respect for someone's time and livelihood. I'm sharing this to highlight the importance of accountability and transparency in hiring. I am actively seeking new opportunities in sales or leadership in the Rock Hill or Charlotte area and am ready to contribute immediately.

I saw reasonably priced men's shorts and a somewhat limited selection of shoes. They carry a more complete line of various fashions for ladies and children. This store's parking lot is large and is easy to enter. It's a bit more difficult to make an exit depending on the time of day as traffic can be very heavy.

I love their sales and for me it is all about the husky sizes for my son. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. The clothes also hold up well. If you have a boy, then you know what I am talking about. They stand up to rough wear and abuse. So it makes me feel good that I can stretch my money here and it will last for a while. JC Penney Portraits Center: So I was in a bind to take some photos. I wanted to be able to take photos and get them made into Christmas Cards immediately. (I am so last minute). So I booked my appointment online and printed out a coupon that they had available. We arrived a little early for our appointment but they got us in right away. Our photographer was awesome. I wish I could remember her name because everyone needs her as their photographer. But she took photos at the right angles, knew how to coach us in moving us the right way. She had fun with my son and was able to get great shots of all us. Maybe we were more relaxed because we were all in jeans and Christmas Shirts (look in my profile photos to see our Christmas Photo). I don't know but I was really impressed with the skills our photographer. Her knowledge and personality just all worked for me. The only thing I was mad about was the sitting fee. It was clear that they charged a sitting fee of $9.99. However, it was not clear that the sitting fee was per person. So just know that it is per person. So because the membership is the same fee as what we would have paid for the sitting fee, we just did the membership which is good for two years and no more fees during that time. I did have to wait 5 days to pick up my photos but I was able to purchase the download copies of our photos and the rights to them. They told me I would have them within 24 hours in an email but it literally came in less than two hours. So I was able to get Christmas Cards made somewhere else so that I could mail them out in a timely fashion.

I went to customer service to return and one item went through just fine but for some reason they were having trouble processing the other item. What irritated me was she the lady at the desk tried to process it once and pushed my item to the side and said she can't return it. She didn't even give me an explanation. I asked her why and she said she couldn't find the item. I showed her my invoice that showed all the info and she was still having trouble. She made it seem like that was it. I asked if there was a manager she could ask and she finally did. It was annoying because this whole process took 15 minutes! And she kept using different computers back and forth and they didn't have a merchandise credit card for my store credit at the desk. She had to call someone to bring it to her. The manager finally came and fixed the issue but this was such a hassle. Super unorganized. I would have no desire to come back to this store ever.
