The shopping center features Harris Teeter as the main tenant but also includes Rite Aid, a Mexican restaurant and a Red Bowl Asian Bistro. Autozone, Wendy's and Bojangles as well as a bank. Dense with restaurants, retail, offices and a movie-plex that has more than 12 theaters, it's way too busy on a weeknight. I've been here for Two-for-Tuesday wings at the Wild Wing and it's always a challenge to find parking. At least the Cave Dwellers folks have their dedicated spots. The street starts at two lanes where it meets South Tryon and then, as it makes a curve, narrows to just one lane. A few accidents are missed by a hair. The first break in the center curb has a 'No U-Turns" sign but that is routinely ignored. There is a multi-story parking deck but it's not well marked and too far from the shops. Though I must admit the cash register line was rather loooong at Kohl's but worth due to the customer care I received. I assess I really got great deals on the items I purchased. Later that evening the family and I ate dinner at Bubba's. The food and drinks were delicious. I recommend the chili, burgers and French fries. Bubba's honors military service member with a discount on food purchases and has a sign thanking us for our service. If you're in Gastonia, NC make a point to patronize Franklin Square Shopping Center!

It will be challenging to cross the traffic here so you'll need to time it with the light at Industrial Drive in front of the Mercedes dealer.
