So when I got out of my car and saw that MST was open, I went in to browse. Due to the time available, I wasn't able to shop the second floor. However, I was mesmerized by the items on the first. There was a lot of Christmas decorations still available and they were all on sale. My focus was on Valentines and St. Patricks Day. I was able to add a couple new nicknacks to my St. Patty's decor. The gentleman working the counter in the center of the store was friendly and informative. I've started dining at Gallagher's on the regular and will now be stopping in MST when I do.

They keep most of their furniture outside because the store is rather small. So at any time of day, you can drive by really slow and see what they have sitting outside. I usually see a few couches, tables, chairs, bed frames... and since I'm always looking for wooden furniture to refinish- it's a gold mine! As for the clothing selection, it seems like an average thrift store type of selection. And the parking lot can be rather challenging. It's small, gravel, and on Saturdays can get tricky to park in it. But as I said - gold mine for fresh selections of furniture every few days and fun knick knacks. Plus the proceeds go to support Camp Wartburg (an awesome Christian Camp for kiddos). I love bringing my donations here too.

However the thick cut porterhouse, costing $27 was tuff when cooked to MMR, this was a big downer we had expected a whole lot more. the Link breakfast sausage was under seasoned it left us thinking it didn't bring anything special to the breakfast meal. The owner is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about various games and pop culture. I wish they had a larger supply of dice to feed my habit, but in the grand scheme of things, we are lucky places like this still exist. They also sell Japanese candies and other refreshments. I think there is an Internet cafe in the back, but all the computers were off and nobody was back there, so I'm not sure.

Well I got some kid working there I asked if they had this product, his response we don't take care of that area. I said who does, he says I don't know! He says we probably have that item your looking for, I said I'm not going on a probably you have it, the store is 30 minutes away one way. I said let me speak with a manager, he says he's off. Then I said let me speak with a supervisor, it got real quiet I thought he hung up, but he went over and was looking for what I don't know bc I never gave him the brand are exact product description. Well after all this BS with this kid who didn't give a rats a-- of what I wanted, they didn't have it. This is the problem Walton family the way your stores are being run with low paying jobs. Inconvenience the hell out of the customer, put people in there who don't care and forces me to look elsewhere. Which I'm not a big fan of Walmart anyway. And Waterloo is a really clean nice Walmart if there's such a thing. But you guys blew it big time on this.
