I love Walgreens. It is one of those stores that reward you for being a customer. When I get my Sunday paper, one of the first things I do is scan the Walgreens ad for their weekly specials. Where can you get Ziploc bags for 99 cents. They offer spices for 75 cents. Plus when you buy items you get points, when you get 5000 point you earn a $5 coupon to spend in the store. I like the Waterloo and Columbia Walgreens, but all of the stores are pretty similar. If you have not check out Walgreens, you will be pleasantly surprised.

My daughter went to fill a prescription that she has filled every 3 months. She went to pick up her…read moreprescription and they told her that her card was "expired". I called to ask why, because I know it was not. They said I should have received "new" cards at the beginning of the year, but I know I didn't and nothing changed, since everything has been the same for 10 years. After calling the insurance co. and the prescription part of our insurance, they said the same thing, nothing had changed and there was absolutely no reason my daughter should have paid for that prescription. This is NOT the first issue we have had with this pharmacy. They are RUDE, and we have had issues with them many times. This is the LAST time. If you want rude people, that can't do their jobs correctly and then blame the customer, go here. We will be going to CVS from now on.

Idk if that's a bad thing? But these errands gave me a chance to sight-see and explore Belleville on my terms. I enjoyed the ride. Such a cute, little town. Anyway, I arrived at Hideg mid-afternoon, after my x-rays at Memorial. I walked right into the clean facility and was greeted by a young pharmacy tech, Nick. I gave him my referral and my insurance card. During light conversation, he measured my calves and ankles. Next, he brought over two options for compression socks from the brand, Jobst Activewear. Further, he explained that he actually wears a pair himself and gave me an honest opinion about the socks. He instructed me on the handle and care as well. I appreciate when customer service is served on a platter - Nick did just that. He took his time to explain the product and didn't take advantage. Kudos to the boy! I made my choice and Nick told me how my insurance would work concerning this purchase. After signing my life away, he bagged me up and I was out the door. Hideg is really nice pharmacy. I can't wait til my next visit.

I get my dogs medication at CVS in Columbia, IL every month and pay $21.00. Today I go to pick up…read morethe same medication and am told it's $68.00. I argued but the MGR said that the coupon/discount can vary in price. Really, a price increase of $47.00 is robbery. Then on the way home I looked at Good RX and it showed CVS price of $45.00. It's still robbery but they charged me $20.00 over their price. CVS is a criminal organization.

Ive been using this pharmacy for years. It's close and convenient. Unfortunately, it does an…read moreextremely high volume of scripts so things don't always get done quickly and SOME of the staff get overwhelmed and don't give customers the attention they need or if they do it's in a less than friendly way. I like that they have given me information on my scripts on their own accord. They have SOME very helpful techs and pharmacists. I have some pretty expensive drugs and they have helped me get a good price. Much appreciated.

Other pharmacies treat you like a second class citizen and act like they are doing you a favor just to fill your order. I can drop off an order with MS and they will have it in 5 minutes. None of this "20-30 minutes" line you get at other stores where they want you to shop while you are waiting. Also, Ted will paitiently explain about your medicine and answer any questions you have - without a big lecture. Give this place a try! They act like they WANT and appreciate your business.

I had to change my son on the nasty floor (yes I had a mat, but I was still on my knees in a public restroom). Oh and there was a baby cockroach too which didn't make the situation better.
