Well I got some kid working there I asked if they had this product, his response we don't take care of that area. I said who does, he says I don't know! He says we probably have that item your looking for, I said I'm not going on a probably you have it, the store is 30 minutes away one way. I said let me speak with a manager, he says he's off. Then I said let me speak with a supervisor, it got real quiet I thought he hung up, but he went over and was looking for what I don't know bc I never gave him the brand are exact product description. Well after all this BS with this kid who didn't give a rats a-- of what I wanted, they didn't have it. This is the problem Walton family the way your stores are being run with low paying jobs. Inconvenience the hell out of the customer, put people in there who don't care and forces me to look elsewhere. Which I'm not a big fan of Walmart anyway. And Waterloo is a really clean nice Walmart if there's such a thing. But you guys blew it big time on this.

Columbia Market is just...groceries, including fresh produce, packaged items, meat, and dairy. There's no coffee bar, in-store bakery, or deli sandwich counter. It's inventory is much smaller than the local supermarket chains and prices are higher. So, it may not be the place where you do your weekly family purchasing, but for Main Street area residents and shopkeepers it is convenient and well stocked.

I went to Red Bud IGA on 4/1/2025. I have been patronizing this store since returning to the area…read morein 2000. I have always enjoyed the experience. However, on this day I purchased approximately $60 worth of groceries, of which approximately $20 worth of past sell date items. First was deal on tortillas which have sell by date of 2/12/25 which tasted like cardboard; next pizza with sell by date of 3/12/25 which I had to throw away because of the nauseating taste; bagels which molded after 2 days; and room fresheners that were dried-up and gave very little odor. I called the store, but manager was not in. Called MIllstadt store to speak with owner, left message and have received no call back. Wanted to address this with store management before posting this, but was I was not able to do so. Also, I experienced an IGA store in Louisiana, where out date items were removed from the "white" store and sent to the "Mexican" store. Being a mid-westerner, I knew this could not happen here. But I was wrong, before buy anything that looks like a good sale, check the dates.
