I absolutely love the store, I stocked up on Berkshire pork and Beef outside skirt steak - I find the outside skirt steak makes tenders, juicy fajitas. I came in specifically looking for Elmer's adhesive glue and an X-Acto knife. I found an aisle dedicated to different types of glue, but strangely, the Elmer's glue wasn't there. It was a bit frustrating that all of the glues weren't grouped together in one logical spot. On the bright side, once I finally tracked down the glue, I found the X-Acto knife immediately right after. I know the floor layout and corporate stocking decisions aren't the fault of the everyday employees working hard here--somehow it just makes sense to the higher-ups, so it is what it is! Standard Walmart experience overall.

My parents lived in Garland so I'd visited the Walnut Hill & 75 location over the years and liked it, other than the fact that they're not allowed to sell hard liquor which is a BIG BUMMER but not the store's fault. I went to this location around 2pm on a weekday and it was BUSTLING! The selection was pretty good and just about everything on my list was in stock. The store is super clean and well stocked by happy, helpful and smiling employees as always. There were even plenty of shopping carts and baskets available which is never the case in downtown San Francisco. The lines were very manageable even though the store was packed with shoppers. My cashier informed me that this is the busiest location in the DFW area, but I'd argue that the Walnut Hill location is just as busy. I was thrilled that the lines don't snake around halfway down the aisles like those for a theme park roller coaster as they do in SF.

I only gave it three stars because the only two customer service people I came in contact with were not friendly at all. BEWARE: make sure you always check your food / snacks from bulk section I bought some of the watermelon chili candies today, ate a couple at home then looked at one of them out of pure randomness and noticed something moving...it was a maggot I never spit out something so fast in my life Was told on the phone there's no way maggots could be in these candies... Went to the store and literally had to show them the whole bucket had more maggots... "best they could do" was refund my $5... Obviously stuff happens but this was one of the grossest experiences in d ever encountered and will be reporting to Texas HHS
