My review is still a one start if it could be it would be no stars. This place is so ridiculous and…read moreI really think it's because they know that they're like the only little store out here in Cold Springs that's not 7-Eleven. Okay first off a while ago they reconfigured their store where you cannot get two baskets to pass each other which is annoying enough well today I was running late to get out here and I wanted to stop and get some soda. I walked in the door right in the front of the store where it's perfect there's a whole display of 12 packs of Cokes Sprite Orange etc etc so I asked her at the counter I said what is the sale she said Coke is three for 15 great so I grabbed three 12 packs well only one of them is the Coke product okay fine so I said what ones are Coke products she says from here over okay fine so I go back get the other ones then she says oh two coats and a Sprite. I said no they're supposed to be three 12 packs and she tells me oh I don't know I have to look at the app! Now mind you yes I do know I was in a hurry but if you have a display up by the register that is for last minute little add-ons there fast they're convenient and I ended up just leaving with nothing. I really really need to stop at an actual place to business that connects business properly before I come out here because like I said I've never once had a good experience there.

I had to try out one of Costco's new food court items: the chicken fingers and sauce, and I have to…read moreadmit that I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were! As usual for Costco, the value is insane as you get 5 massive chicken fingers for $6.99 and it comes with a big cup of sauce, but pictures don't really do them justice because these were pretty thick pieces of chicken. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was perfectly portioned, it is the exact amount of sauce needed, and it is excellent and tangy. This is going to be a dangerous item for me, because not only am I going to get them again and again, but I might be getting them instead of Raising Cane's, which is insane to me. I also got a cookie, which honestly was good but cooked a little too much for my taste, as it was too crisp and almost burnt, and I prefer mine a little softer. But a nice addition is they added call in number for ordering whole pizzas ahead of time for pickup!

Here the experience starts in the parking lot with full size spaces that can fit any size cars, and in a town where it seems 50 percent of the drivers have full sized trucks or large SUV's that makes a huge difference. The entrance way is similar but with less of a TSA feel than the other club store. The merchandise mix and rotations are similar. There are less big "promo" brands here at Sam's Club. They don't seem to attract the "Chipotle Chicken, Hexclad, or Junk Removal partnerships". The house brand is a bit hit and miss in some categories but still offer a good alternative. By the time you get up to check out and don't want to wait in line for 20- or 30-minutes Sam's Club has a quicker check out ALWAYS. The food courts are neck in neck in price and (value?). The scanner that checks your cart and only flags about one in ten customers for receipt review is also way easier. The exit onto surface streets and eventually to the freeway is a bit easier at Sam's as well since you don't have to compete with gas lines, school zones, and dealership test drives.
