It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

This place is a joke. I use to love Kroger because the one where I use to live had the nicest…read moreemployees, and they kept it so so clean. This one is dirty. Not just a little sticky on the floor, or dust on the shelves. I don't know what it is, but like, the air feels dirty. I've still shopped here but by doing curbside pick up. Walking around their store just makes me depressed. There have been a lot of mistakes when I order my groceries through their app. They usually either don't give me a few of my items, or I get random ones that must have been from someone else's order. I've overlooked it so far and tried not to let it stress me out completely. But last weekend when I ordered groceries, it was just the final straw. Their employees (most not all) are extremely rude and incompetent. I get there to pick up my order, and the guy loads the groceries before telling me that their "terminals" are broken and he will have to take my EBT card into the store to swipe it. I had two things that were not food items and wouldn't be covered by my EBT card, and told him they'd need paid for with my debit card. He said Okay, and asked for the PIN numbers. I didn't mind giving the one for my EBT card, because it's just the pandemic EBT card and really, no one is going to do much with that. But I never never give away my debit card PIN number, and it's a PIN I use for several different things. So I told him that. He said, Okay, then I'll run it as credit. I said okay. Throughout my wait, I dealt with 3, all very rude, employees. They continued to treat me like a "Karen," like I was making their minimum wage job so hard on them, by being difficult. YET. They wanted to run my debit card as credit, I said Okay. They said it wouldn't work, I offered cash. They said No, we can't accept cash. I offered to return the items, they didn't respond but walked away for more deliberation. They said I'd have to go into the store to pay, I said Okay. Then they asked if they could use the debit card that I had on file with the app from where I've ordered before, and I said Sure. Finally they come back out with my debit card and say, never mind, we got it to run as credit... So they did a lot wrong in my opinion on this trip. Asking for my personal identification number. Their terminals broken down. Rude staff. Wait time, made even longer by their indecisiveness. I was completely offended and annoyed. Especially at the fact that they acted like I was the one being difficult by not giving out my private info, when I was agreeable to anything else that they suggested! I'll do my shopping elsewhere to avoid this kind of aggravation again and recommend that others do as well. But to each their own.

I'll preface this by saying that I do most of my grocery shopping at Jungle Jim's, with frequent…read moretrips to Meijer as well when I need things that aren't food. In both cases, the stores are large and shopping takes time--I know I'm committing an hour, but I'll walk out with everything I need. Grocery Outlet is not that. The store is smaller, and so is the selection--but it isn't boring. There are times when that is exactly the shopping experience I'm in the mood for. In and out, but with the chance to discover some things I wasn't looking for and save some money along the way. I've found good deals here on protein chips, dried fruit, pasta, cheese, milk, salad dressings and sometimes meat. The main issue with Grocery Outlet is you probably can't shop your full list here. You'll probably get through most of it, especially if you aren't particular about brands, but there are specifics you just won't find. For example, there are 1 or 2 brands of all-purpose flour, but no bread flour. As long as you know that going in, it's a fine shopping experience. Bonus points for how kind and friendly the employees are.

I would suggest if you are getting meals for several people that you call ahead and place your order and when you want to pick it up as it's made fresh and NOT cooked and sitting around under a heat lamp for hours. This is a very old, small hometown grocery store that was recently purchased by a family from…read moreIndia. The new owners have put in a few upgrades to the store and it seems this is just the start. They now have a beer cave and a large expanded selection of craft beers and other alcoholic beverages. Does a small town with with more than 11 places that serve/sell alcohol within a 2 mile radius really need a beer cave and huge alcohol selection? I dont think so but thats the Mayor's fault not Medarys. They also updated the overhead lights to led lights so it is very bright. They have replaced the ice cream coolers as well as added pop/milk/dairy item coolers. The box/can food selection is good but expensive. You do not want to use this store for more than something you ran out of and need it asap! The produce department is terrible. They carry a few heads of lettuce and a couple pieces of fruit that seem to be seasonal. It's not very fresh and disappointing to people who are vegitarians. They do carry a nice banana selection but at 69 cents a pound its pricey. They have a hot/cold deli and a bakery section. Sliced deli meat is on par to a little pricey depending on selection and hardly ever on sale. Cheese is expensive and I havent seen a single sale so far but if you ask for Amish American at $4.99 a pound its a steal and in my opinion its better than Land-O-Lakes. They still have the best donuts in Clermont County! However like everything else they are expensive. About 20-45 cents higher per donut than previous owners. Still worth it! Now for the hot deli. Fried chicken and taters. Still seems to be the same flour/spice breading mixture as in the past. Chicken and potato wedges are amazing when first put in case. As time passes they become greasy, dry and terrible. They do offer an after 9pm special and the ladies will fry it fresh. They do offer cold fresh fried chicken in the open cooler like Kroger does. The non family staff is minimal. The ladies in the deli are all very nice and helpful. They work hard running both hot/cold deli, frying chicken and washing all the pots, pans, trays and things. At night there is only 1 person. The most I've seen even in rush hour is 2 ladies working. The owner and his wife are there always. Their son and another family member also have shifts. They all are nice but I think cultural differences sometimes make them seem rude. What I dislike is that they follow you around as if you are going to steal from them. Plus you are on a huge tv camera system so I dont know why they feel the need to make customers feel uncomfortable. That makes it feel less grocery store more corner bodega. They also sell an assortment of incense and a couple hookah pipes. Really? This is a farm town with country folks. This turns many people away. Overall Medarys has your basics but are very expensive. The employees are friendly and the owner and his family are cordial. The store is kept very clean unlike previous owners. They need to expand their produce with fresh items and limit the bodega gimmick items. It would be nice to see some authentic Indian food in the hot deli.
