Huge parking lot out front, since it shares a strip mall with other stores. The store is clean, and pretty well stocked. Cashiers and Management are always friendly, and greet you if you are walking through the store. They've recently added self-checkout, so that is very convenient when you have only a few items to purchase. Just a heads up, their BOGO deals are popular, so if you go near the end of their BOGO special, you probably won't find what you're looking for. Today, for me, it was the coffee I wanted that they were out of. Pharmacy - 5 out of 5. They are efficient and quick. I've even could make appointments online to get vaccines through them, which was super convenient. Prescriptions are ready in a timely manner, especially now that I refill them online. Deli - 5 out of 5. Plenty of people making sandwiches at lunchtime, so the line moves quickly. Flower Shop - 4 out of 5. Nice, fresh assortment. Bakery - 5 out of 5. Love how they do so many seasonal items. Sushi - 2 out of 5. This is the only department in the store that needs a re-vamp. Publix makes a big deal out of $5 sushi Wednesday. Today the only "sushi" rolls available were made with fake krab meat. All of them. Pass. Other days, the actual amount of fish in a roll is miniscule - maybe one to two ounces at best. I've compared it to the amount that Whole Foods puts in their rolls, and honestly, Publix should be embarrassed. I get the impression there is no oversight on the sushi section at all, so they get away with putting in as little as possible. Publix - change this! All in all, a great store, and I will continue to be a happy, regular customer.

I love coming to 5 Belows because they always seem to have some affordable t-shirts in my size and they often have Harry Potter stuff. I recently lost a lot of weight and hardly any of my clothes fit, so it's great to be able to buy some fun tshirts that fit that won't make me go broke. Also, a week ago I had to have foot surgery so I had to shop around on a scooter and there was a wonderfully helpful gentleman who offered to help ring me out and help me bag up my items. Please know that Jim is a treasure and I am super thankful for his help and upbeat personality. He was like a ray of sunshine after being cooped up all week. Thanks for being awesome, Jim!!

Target is lot like most other big box sotres that sell clothes, homegoods, and groceries…read more Employees are ok and will help when asked. This particular location has a large self checkout area next to the regular checkout lanes (most of which are closed and not manned). There is also a large covered car drive uyp pickup area. Inside, there is a Starbucks, an eyeglass store, and a small self checkout market that sells snacks and drinks. This partilcular store has a large grocery and bakery section which offer decent selection. One issue is that the shelves are sometimes not stocked well so you'll run into issues there occasionally. We generally leverage this Target to do pickup orders since its convenient to order on the app and pickup in the drive up area. One thing that still bothewrs me about that is there isn't an easy way to check your purchase before you leave. I've only run into an issue once and Target addressed it, but I guess it's part of the cost of convenience. Overall, outside of spending too much money at Target, I can't say too much good or bad. It fills our needs and will probably fill yours too.

When making a return at Target customer service, I interacted with associate, Lesa, and handed her…read moremy receipt. She asked if the total was $35. I specifically asked her to confirm the amount on the receipt she was holding, and she told me it was correct. After she processed the return, I asked for the original receipt she did not give back to me and noticed the refund was short by $5. Instead of clarifying, she insisted the entire purchase had been refunded, but she couldn't explain the missing $5. When I reminded her that I had asked her to verify the receipt total, she denied saying it was $35 and instead claimed she asked if I wanted the refund back on my card -- which was not true. At that point, she walked away and called a manager without even explaining the issue to them. The manager arrived, and I had to re-explain everything myself. Not only did the manager fail to acknowledge the situation or apologize for the misinformation, but she also questioned my reason for a return-- which was irrelevant. It felt dismissive, as though I was wasting her time, rather than her focusing on solving the refund discrepancy. So unless it's self check out, not recommending this store or the people who work there.

As a veteran, I genuinely appreciate the benefits we are afforded. Access to the commissary is one of those earned privileges that never goes unnoticed. It is a reminder that service matters and our support is needed to keep it going... Beyond the savings, what really keeps us coming back is the atmosphere. It is always clean, well organized, and easy to navigate... they make small changes but for the most part the setup of the store remains the same. But more importantly, it is the people. There is something special about being around fellow service members and veterans. Only we truly understand each other. There is a shared experience that creates an instant sense of connection. Every visit turns into lighthearted memorable conversations, laughter in the aisles, and sometimes we make new connections. It feels less like a chore and more like community time. We have met some incredible people just by striking up casual conversations while shopping. The camaraderie is real, and the network continues to expand in the most organic way. For us, the commissary is not just about groceries. It is about community, shared experience, and the continued bond of service.

I take my Dad down to the commissary about once a month to get regular everyday items that my…read moreparents eat or use and am happy about the savings for them. My father only gained assess recently so we are still getting used to the ins and outs of everything. As I am not listed as a "caregiver" for my Dad, it is kind of a pain to have to always stop and get a day pass for me to be able to drive him back onto the base but small price to pay. There are plenty of items that we do not buy there as they are close to the same price as Publix or other stores and if the stores are having a BOGO, there isn't a chance but there are tons of stuff that are lower in price and worth the drive. I am mindful of pricing per pound and chicken is not something we'll ever buy there as really the options are limited and pricing, not worth it, especially compared to Sam's or other club pricing. Recently, we tried out their online Click 'N Go and though it is extremely helpful for someone like my Dad who has trouble walking around much, I was somewhat disappointed. There is a specific item that my parents love and the quality and pricing is amazing so when ordering a large amount of numbers, the butcher staff told the Click 'N Go staff they didn't have enough packages to complete our order. I actually ordered 2 days ahead of time, not because I thought they would set them aside for us by 2 days but so they knew they had a large order coming up and would have time to prep and be able to complete the order fully but no success. On a hunch, I felt there would be a good chance that if I walked into the store and they would have more in the meat department and I was right. They had more than enough and we were there early so I know they prepped them that morning and just didn't want to have to do more for the store itself. Honestly, why does it matter if it goes to a Click 'N Go order or to someone walking in the store? I did mention this to the staff member that brought out our order because she apologized for not having the full order... she was shocked because she said that she specifically talked to them about our order as she was also the one who walked the store collecting our items. At the end of the day, we got the number of packages we wanted, but I shouldn't have had to walk into the store to do so myself. Just complete the order if you truly have the numbers to do so. I don't feel it was appropriate to act like they didn't have enough because they didn't want to do more work or that now I'll always feel I have to go in personally to check if the numbers are off. Other than that staff issue, we have had zero issues with customer service and everyone has been very helpful when trying to find something. They always are very accommodating towards my Dad and his need to go sit down while I am checking out for him. He is a typical Marine and even at the age of 78 with very bad knees, refuses to use any motorized carts, etc. so he gives them his card and goes to sit down while I handle the rest for him. Be sure to be mindful that the baggers only work for tips so be kind, ESPECIALLY when they are taking out your groceries for you and packing up your car.

Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.
