I've bought everything here from candy, laser pointers, phone cases, Halloween costumes, cat food, energy drinks, toys, sun glasses, coloring books, batteries, toiletries and the list goes on and on. They even have a little grocery section with frozen foods and canned goods and lots of other stuff. I have not been brave enough to buy dollar steaks although I did see they've had them before! The workers are always real friendly. Maybe not that knowledgeable on the countless products they carry, but I don't expect that anyway from a shop like this. Give me a smile and check me out when I'm ready and you're good as gold in my book. I ain't picky :). The thing I absolutely love the most about this store is I can give each of my kids a $5 dollar bill and set them free and they will have an absolute hay day looking over all the toys and electronics and other stuff and each come away with five different things and big smiles on the face. Now that's what it's all about for me. So cheap, but those smiles are priceless and I love it! All in all that's the main reason I come here. Very budget friendly and a fun little reward for the kids once in a while. It's great for that.

This was my first time here! The staff was super nice, very friendly, but the store could have used a good dusting. It was pretty organized, and they my 1 and half year old son seemed to wanted every single thing on the shelf, pointing and screaming and I did that everything is a dollar unless stated.. It seems to have gotten worse since the pricing went to $1.25 and higher price points under the new model... The discount bread racks here though...that is a shining star for this location. Sara Lee and Ballpark as well as other name brands are often available for $1.25. A definite plus.

It's not just cheaply made items either. You will find a variety of name brand items like toys, sporting goods, candies, t-shirts, etc here. I'm not sure if all Family Dollar stores are this nice or just this one because it's new. The items and layout of the items were all neatly organized and the store is kept clean. It reminded me of a Walgreens/CVS when shopping inside. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The prices of items here are great!

Prices start at $9 and change by the day until the next stocking. Never taken home anything I've been disappointed in. Staff is fantastic! Make sure you visit The Vault and ask about their loyalty program! Check out their Facebook page. The one con with this place is a suspicion I have... I live close by and stop in often. I suspect at the end of the night, before prices are lowered the next day, that items are picked from the bins that they don't want to sell at a lower price and then moved back to the bins the next week. Can I prove this? No. It might just be my imagination. However opened items are easily recognizable when they've been retaped. I swear I've seen the exact same opened item a couple weeks in a row on stocking day. And it wasn't there on the $3 or $1 day inbetween. I get it. They're in business to make a profit. But if this is happening it doesn't seem to go along with the whole concept of the business. Still giving it five stars, but wanted to note this.
