$5 for that bear head. Doesn't get much better than that!

I've been here a bunch of times now and I never leave empty handed. Be warned, if you come here with a child like I always do, you will leave with some kind of fun toy for $5. There are so many good things to say. Dollar stores have junk, $5 store is the sweet spot between value and quality. Well, if you are realistic for $5 you are getting things that would cost $20 somewhere else. Let's face it, everything is built in China or some other place overseas where people work for rice and bread. So what you are getting is a great value and just a fun environment. So many neat things at great prices. 5 stars without a doubt!

Five Below...is like The Dollar Tree, but five times as fun! Everything is $5 or less and because of that ceiling there are many more things to get here than at Dollar Tree. They occasionally have video games for XBox One or PS4. There are loads of interesting buys here from games to pool toys, from headphones to clothing. They also have a great selection of candy and treats...starting from 10 cents. As with any "discount" type of store, be sure to be a smart shopper. Some of the items are clearly over-priced and you could get more for less at Hy-Vee. But for most of the items they're decent quality and worth the visit.

This place has over priced junk... it was brand new and it was filthy and the layout was difficult to traverse in. The patrons were rude and I found it like an overpriced garage sale except the items were new... you should go to Dollar Tree for a much better experience. I hope they clean up their act...

Saw a video about this place and had to see it for myself! As a recovering Goodwill Bins fan and…read moregrowing up going to Ropa and other thrift and sift spots, I was intrigued. This is a chain that buys customer returns and end-of-season items and sells them at a discount. Think Amazon returns, overstock or out of season Target items, etc. Then, everything is dumped into bins for folks to look through: it's not even sorted into "soft" and "hard" like at the Goodwill bins. But the perk is, everything is new with tags / barely used! The pricing is unique - it goes: $10 Fridays $7 Saturdays $5 Sundays $3 Mondays $2 Tuesdays $1 Wednesdays 25c Thursdays We came on a Sunday and found a few items: an electric beard trimmer, a plant pot, an outdoor rug, Duke Cannon soap. However, I would say if I were to come back, I'd probably come on either $10 Friday hoping for a bigger ticket item, or on Tuesday/Wednesday because most stuff just wasn't worth $5. Lots of plastic items, cheap items and felt too small/cheap for $5. There were lots of clothes, but they were mixed in with the hard goods so hard to go through, and most were Target or Amazon brands so didn't see much value in going through them on $5 day - for me at least. If you're looking for kids toys and stuff, household decor and trinkets, acrylic organizers, and gifts - this is a great place to stock up on the cheaper days! Super interesting to look through. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon, but very interesting!

The former Toys R Us store has reopened as a Where Ya Bin location. This business buys truckloads…read moreof customer returns and overstocks and liquidates them in their stores. The item price descends throughout the week starting at $10 on Fridays all the way down to $0.25 on Thursdays...! I drive by Where Ya Bin on my way to work and on Fridays there is almost always a line of people out there at 615 AM waiting to get in... The store doesn't open until 1000 AM. I'm guessing it's mostly resellers hoping to buy expensive items for $10 and flip them online... I've been once and it's very similar to The Looney Bin store...who coincidentally happens to be across the parking lot from Where Ya Bin. Not exactly a classy move with The Looney Bin being a much smaller operation, but the space was open so I guess it is what it is... smh We popped in on a Sunday (an $8 day) and spent some time looking through bins. My girlfriend picked up a few hair products and a couple of other things. I didn't find anything, but that's how this kind of shopping goes. It's kind of like thrifting or antiquing. That's why it's called hunting and not buying I guess. If you like the whole dig bin style of shopping you'll probably enjoy this place. It's a pretty huge location... Probably the biggest bin store in the state of Iowa at this point in time.

I didn't make it a priority, but I have recently had the most amazing experience by being in the store. It is affordable unique, and the options to choose from were fantastic. They have some candles and some wax melt options that were amazing and when I got them home, they had some really good room fill of the scent without having to wait for hours. I will definitely be going back because there were at least a dozen other things I wanted to buy, but couldn't afford because of the purchase I had already made I think anyone that walks in there will find something to purchase that they absolutely have to have or is perfect for gifts for others and if you miss this, it's on you because you've missed some thing that is absolutely fantastic. Great job to the owners for making a store be an adventure. Thank you.
