The layout is modern, clean, and inviting with plenty of natural light, walkways by water features, and a comfortable mix of anchor stores and specialty shops. Parking was plentiful (though busy on peak days) and signage made getting in and out manageable. The mall features over 110 popular retailers including Apple, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, Sephora, lululemon, and more. We popped into Apple to check out the latest devices, browsed through Anthropologie for a few gift ideas, and also stopped by H&M for casual wear. The variety here means there's something for everyone in the family. The food options were solid too. The food court has familiar favorites; for a more upscale break, restaurants with patios overlooking the lake offer a more relaxing atmosphere. The staff everywhere we encountered them was courteous and helpful, especially in stores where we asked questions. The mall is well maintained, restrooms are clean, and common areas feel well cared for. We appreciated the amenities like stroller or wheelchair rental, device charging stations (outside Apple), and multiple restroom throughout. One thing to be mindful of: some mallgoers report that kiosk vendors by walkways can be overly enthusiastic--if you're not in the mood to be approached, it helps to keep moving. Overall, Jordan Creek Town Center offers a top-tier mall experience in the Des Moines area. Great mix of stores, nice ambiance, and strong amenities make it worth the visit.

Best element: Their live piano player in the midst of our hectic current world, slowing us down to enjoy the experience and relax a bit. Please don't ever change this! Loved the songs that came from the keys! A family member made this her initial destination when looking for a dress appropriate for a formal occasion, and it was an excellent decision. Staffer Carissa was amazing, lending excellent guidance, comfort, and awareness for the many ensuing questions. Her customer service was incredible, and made the entire visit positive. No rush, consistent conversation in a great tone. Their pricing is competitive and fair. The whole vibe of Von Maur was on display during this visit, and we walked away in a pleasant mode with a successful buy that felt right.

I was there to pick up an outfit for a wedding and needed everything from head to toe. With just a little prompt to give him a starting point, the salesperson assisting me narrowed the options, expertly paired colors and patterns, and created an enable that I am eager to wear. The shoe department was no less helpful in helping me land on the best look for the event. A stop in women's wear was no less worthwhile. My wife received excellent recommendations and service and she ended up with a dress perfect for the occasion. Von Maur prices are moderate to high, but the quality of their goods is in keeping with the cost. Things to know: * Von Maur is open an hour later than the Jordan Creek Town Center that it now anchors (west end of the mall). * Men's alterations on purchases are free. Turnaround time is roughly the business days. * Von Maur has their own credit card which used to (and may still), not charge interest.

I ended up getting ecco sneakers for only $40. The nice lady remarked the sticker price since I noticed the 9.5 size were different than a smaller size ecco sneaker. Yeah!!! This Marshall's didn't seem to have as much as the TJ Maxx that's in Waterloo. But I didn't think that the items were merchandised very crisply and it was very organized. The leadership in the store obviously takes great care in the appearance of their store. Now with a store like this that operates off of overstock merchandise you can't count on the same things being available all the time. So when I was looking through the women's clothing I was having a hard time finding items in my size. If I were a size extra small or small I would've had it made. I only ended up with a shirt for my son. Nothing else really caught my eye. I wasn't very impressed by the staff of the store though. I walked past a few employees and nobody greeted me smiled or made eye contact. When I walked up to the register the cashier me I contact with me but turned and continue to speak with her manager. It was at least 30 seconds before she finally walk to the register and told me she could help me there. If the store hadn't been so well organized and attractive from a merchandising standpoint I would've probably rated it a three.
