Looking for helium filled mylar balloons. The newer Dollar Tree in Oswego on Ogden near Kohl's advised me they didn't have helium. A call to Party City in the area, told me they no longer were selling helium filled balloons because they are going out of business. The phone at this location was a constant busy when called; so I was worried about going out of my way and they also being out of helium. I decided to take a chance and make the drive anyway. When I arrived at the store, the balloon area to my surprise was filled with many balloons I could purchase, however, I still needed assistance to fill about six to complete my desired purchase. I ask the gentleman at the register, Max if I could have assistance with balloons. He called to someone and another associate came to the front and stated that he'd be on break for two hours and would be unable to assist me. Maxx from the register stepped away, filled my ballon order. He was very polite, friendly and professional. After filling my balloon order he promptly checked my order out at the register. This is the kind of service that I'm always happy to receive. No attitude, not treating customers as if we are an inconvenience. Maxx is an asset to this Dollar Tree store. I appreciated not having to wait or trek to yet another location for service. This is the kind of customer care that will make folks drive out of the way to shop this location for the excellent customer service. It made all the difference in my day.

Aurora Discounts is a good place for cheap crap. It seriously has some pretty amazing deals…read more Quality of products can be questionable but still has plenty of good stuff. Household items for cleaning or anything else. The prices are cheap for most things. Hispanic and Latino owned business. It mostly caters to this population that lives around here. There's lots of items in Spanish but most are in English too. Find cheap liters of pop for a buck. There's also snacks like big bags of nuts for a dollar or more. Cleaning supplies and other household goods can be found. These are mostly for cooking and kitchens. Credit cards are mostly accepted. It has surprisingly good stuff even though it's cheap. There's a small parking lot but it's shared with a bank so be careful to be in the right spot or you could be towed.

Warehouse 55 is a collection of vintage items and repurposed furnishings mixed with many one of a kind treasures. Here you will find old and new..something for every aesthetic . Over 2 stories of various vendors..prices vary depending on the product . A nice feature they offer is if you are undecided and get home,you can shop many of the items online by vendor or product. Will have to go again after the Holidays for more treasure hunting.

The location is huge and the selections are great especially if I don't want to shop at the bigger chains who love Orange or Blue colors. The location is easy to find. It is convenient to have a light to turn into and out of the store. Parking is huge and there are plenty of spots. The store itself is very big and I have yet to explore it all. I usually come here for Lumberjack Pellets (great quality pellets that no one really sells), and landscaping relating stuff like tools and mulch. Sometimes I will browse the food selection because why not. You can usually find unique things here and one of their beef jerky brands is delicious. I have used their delivery service and pick up as well. Both have given me no issues. I have signed up for their free membership which I have no idea what it does and what benefit it holds. Overall, even though it takes ~15 minutes to drive here and drive thru an area I am not fond of... I am a huge fan of Blains and will continue to shop here.
