And it has been a joy to watch. -They are refurbishing the outside last, so don't let the old sign and tattered exterior fool you. Inside, magic is happening! -Where to start? They have an excellent salad bar. Wonderful fresh sushi. An amazing variety of wines. The town's wonderful florist shop is now moved into the building. They have dry cleaning drop off and pickup. A deli with hot food and everything a good deli needs. -Betty Ann Market just meets every qualification for a major modern supermarket, and it is here in our little town! -I try to do all my shopping there because: it is a wonderful store with everything you need at great prices, they are truly GOOD people with smiling small town spirits, and I want to support my local community. -Instead of driving half an hour away (and then back again) we have a major modern supermarket right here, just a few minutes away! (How much is an hour total travel time AND gas worth in this day and age?). So, THAT is something that we should support! -One final note: I'm a disabled veteran and I shop with my service dog, and the kindness everyone always shows to me has absolutely won my loyalty! -My service dog, Charley, sez: "Betty Ann Market! But Schnucks makes it way too complicated to actually redeem the points. Can"t redeem in self checkout. Can't apply to certain purchases like alcohol. Have to sign into your app during checkout with a person, find my rewards (not intuitive at all), and hand your phone to the clerk to scan the barcode. Any basic process review identifies way better ways to do this. Makes me think Schnucks doesn't want me to redeem those points. Hmmm...

The parking lot is large, well lit and clean. I enjoy running in and picking up a few things or especially like to get flowers for my wife. I recently got some white hydrangeas that were gorgeous and surprised my wife. I was surprised the next morning when a double bunch was completely wilted. I returned with a photo of the flowers and evidence of the charges and the store replaced both bunches without question. Two Thumbs Up for Schnucks!
