This is probably my favorite Bargin Hunt in the Knoxville area. If you haven't been this is…read morebasically a deal lovers dream. Everything is marked with a date, the longer its been there, the more discount the item has. As you enter you will find a sheet of paper that has the dates on it and shows you how much of discount you will get. I have found many things deep discounted and I love to shop here. I have found everything from my favorite designer condition in a large bottle (score!) to my big screen T.V. It does have a very "flea market" vibe to it, but I don't mind! They get a lot of Target things along with dented items and broken boxes. You have 30 days to return whatever you purchase in case it doesn't work! I love Bargin Hunt and consider the Maryville location my favorite.

When Bargain Hunt first opened in the Knoxville area, I loved it! They had all sorts of random…read morestuff, including some really great items, at great prices and with the setup that the prices start dropping after it's been on the shelves for 30 days. Now that the company has opened up so many stores, I think the "good" stuff is getting spread around much thinner. There are still the occasional good bargains that show up, but not nearly as often, and I've started noticing them putting FUTURE dates on their tags. Everything is dated on the 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month, so I can get if an item dated, say, 9/20 gets put out sometime after 9/10...but when items are being put out with a date a month (or sometimes more!) in advance, it seems a little disingenuous to advertise prices go down after they've been there for 1 month when that clock doesn't start for some time to come. Admittedly, this location isn't *quite* as bad about this as the Knoxville location seems to be, but it is still a bit of an issue. They are still a great place to find occasional clothing bargains (my wife frequently finds decent items that have reached 90% off the marked price), but they've not had as many cool electronics and gadgets, which I am generally more interested in.

But once you walk beyond it turns into a well-lit boudoir-style shop. I usually don't have much luck with clothing at boutiques (since they tend to be monocolor with just whatever color trend of the season) and I usually just stay close to the fashion jewelry. Not here! It's the complete opposite. There were so many fun tops and dresses. I love the colors and graphics chosen for their product assortment. The ladies were helpful at the dressing room and at the counter. And I think I want wood floors like this in my own home. It makes me want to walk along and shop shop shop its so great. My only complaint is the boring jewelry section. All the bead-y necklaces and bracelets were pretty much the same style. I think it leaves something to be desired on the baubles front.
