Everything is marked with a date, the longer its been there, the more discount the item has. As you enter you will find a sheet of paper that has the dates on it and shows you how much of discount you will get. I have found many things deep discounted and I love to shop here. I have found everything from my favorite designer condition in a large bottle (score!) to my big screen T.V. It does have a very "flea market" vibe to it, but I don't mind! They get a lot of Target things along with dented items and broken boxes. You have 30 days to return whatever you purchase in case it doesn't work! I love Bargin Hunt and consider the Maryville location my favorite.

Now that the company has opened up so many stores, I think the "good" stuff is getting spread around much thinner. There are still the occasional good bargains that show up, but not nearly as often, and I've started noticing them putting FUTURE dates on their tags. Everything is dated on the 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month, so I can get if an item dated, say, 9/20 gets put out sometime after 9/10...but when items are being put out with a date a month (or sometimes more!) in advance, it seems a little disingenuous to advertise prices go down after they've been there for 1 month when that clock doesn't start for some time to come. Admittedly, this location isn't *quite* as bad about this as the Knoxville location seems to be, but it is still a bit of an issue. They are still a great place to find occasional clothing bargains (my wife frequently finds decent items that have reached 90% off the marked price), but they've not had as many cool electronics and gadgets, which I am generally more interested in.

Decided to try this year for the vegan chef challenge just to see if there might be something I could eat or maybe I'd be wild and ask for the sandwich without the bread. Imagine my SHOCK when I saw gluten free bread on the regular vegan menu and asked if the GF bread was also vegan!! (Spoiler alert: it IS!) This now opens up a world of options, and more reasons to come back regularly. They have an EXTENSIVE vegan menu, and both soups offered the day I was there were vegan. The cashier told us there's a pub downstairs, with different vegan menu items. It's attached to a bookstore and has a homey, comfy feel. It's the kind of place you feel you could hang out in all day and no one would complain. The cashier was BEYOND helpful and friendly and made several recommendations for things to try in the future. The only bad thing is I wasted a year not trying this place. I'll need to make up for that!
