It's right off I-93 (exit 20), amongst a crowded area with restaurants, gas stations, and shops...so you can stop to get gas as well. There's a prepared food area that has pretty good hot subs and other foods that just need to be popped in a microwave that are perfect for meals. I also like their bakery cookie options. This location was one of the first newer, expanded Market Baskets...aisles a little wider, selection a little more extensive, and all with the same low prices. I always go a little nuts when I get in a Market Basket, especially with snacks and beverages since that's what I usually buy for ski trips.

Not only do they totally ignore the customers, each sub takes 10-15 minutes to make, and they make one at a time. Phone orders throw things into reverse. An automatic answer is that phone orders take 45 minutes. In person orders average 30 - 40 minutes. On top of it they are miserable. More than once I have seen customers complain. Nothing changes.

We have now started buying our milk from Aldi, switching over from Market Basket. It seems MB doesn't handle their milk very safely - every time we would buy a half gallon of their 2 percent skim milk, it would be sour very quickly! There is somewhere in the supply chain that their milk is getting warm. The Aldi milk, on the other hand, is ice cold when we pull it from the cold chest, and it lasts a good week past the freshness date! Now for the new things we've discovered: their ice cream sandwiches are wonderful; way better than Hood's, which had always been a mainstay! The chocolate cookie outside tastes like it actually has cocoa in it, and the ice cream is nice and creamy. The pre-packaged meal envelopes are great - they have a Pad Thai (pretty spicy), Southwest Burrito filling, and a couple of Indian choices (Vegetable Korma and Butter Chickpea). We pour them into a bowl, and heat for 3 minutes in the microwave, then eat it with a piece of their excellent Naan bread. The fastest lunch around! Their Organic Uncured Hot Dogs are wonderful! Very meaty, and none of the crap that's in many hot dog brands. We put one of them on their brioche hot dog bun with chopped raw onion and German mustard, and have a quick, delicious lunch. Or have them with baked beans for a hearty dinner. As you can see, we're very pleased with Aldi - the only complaint is the recent re-arrangement of the aisle layout. It still drives us nuts! But that said, the food quality, service, prices, and pleasant employees win out!

He was beyond friendly & wanted to make sure our questions were answered. The freezers are conveniently labeled so that you can find the products you desire. Love that they bring in various vendors, including Fossil Farms (NJ) but also some local NH products. There are also other products, such as dressings, marinades, seasonings, etc. for sale. The store is small but very clean. Taking a left onto route 4 is a challenge but still worth a visit. The prices are extremely fair! There is also a rewards program where you can get $ off for every so many points. We signed up that very day & already have 58 points. For example, you earn $5 off for 50 points, or $10 for 100 points etc. Worth it to me! Jason said they are currently working on a new location in Epsom at the circle. It will have a different name & more of a butcher shop. He plans to keep The Healthy Buffalo open for another year, depending on inventory & how sales go with the new location.

At best I would have to make an educated guess about the contents. This means that salads, sandwiches, ready to heat meals, cookies, cakes, hot soups, prepared lunch items are off limits for me. I also found that the carbs noted in their sushi, the one exception to the above, is not accurate. I have asked repeatedly to look into rectifying the above. Nothing has changed. I recognize that my needs may not reflect the needs of many of their customers but nutritional labeling would be helpful for other consumers who, due to allergies or medical conditions, need this kind of information to decide whether a food is safe to purchase.
