TJ's is the place to get finished foods and snacks, it's not the place to shop if you have a family. It's great for if you live alone or only feed 2 people. They have all the latest food trends and high quality products. Prices are good. Service is excellent. Layout is good. Prices are good compared to California (home for me). It's quite small compared to other locations in California and Chicago where I spend most of my time in. It's a great compliment to Cox, Zion, Las Colinas for the specialized markets. HEB, Market Street and Tom Thumb for major grocers and Whole foods for the bougie health focused. I"m too much of a foodie to come here on a regular basis, but for those that don't want the fuss of cooking for themselves or others it's a great place with it's own place in the area despite Coppel being a family suburb.

Insanely rude employee named Lori. She didn't bother to help when I asked for help and she had a scowl on her face the entire time. So bad!

Trader Joe's has a pretty nice gluten free selection, although there's been some debate over just how gluten free their gluten free goodies are. I can say I've never had any issues, but everyone is different. Do your own research, people! Love their flowers, fresh gf pizza dough and pasta, and their frozen veggies and meals.

They carry a well-edited array of mostly their own private label brands with a global perspective. You will always find something special here that's exciting! To keep things interesting, they have seasonal offerings that keep in step with the time of year. For example, be sure to grab one of their Gobbler Rolls with turkey, stuffing cranberry sauce and gravy... you will not be disappointed! That being said, sometime the products miss the mark, but there's way more hits than misses. Definitely try their Green Goddess Salad, Mini Oatmeal Cookies, Mac n' Cheese and their flavored yogurts. Some of the misses are snacks that are just too sweet like their cereal bars. But for the most part, the products are adventurous and quite good- especially at the very reasonable prices they charge. Something that really makes the TJ stand out is the amazing service. When I checked out, the cashier was so friendly and chatty, all the while paying special attention to detail when bagging my groceries. She was like a 3-D Tetris Master bagging groceries, and taking care to double bag. She had so much skill, and I really got the impression she loved her work. It made me realize the only place I ever have someone else bag my groceries is at Trader Joe's. Makes total sense because every time I've been to a TJ's regardless of location, the checkout experience is always exceptional. In today's grocery world, it's mostly self-checkout and Trader Joe's stands out to me as a company that knows their business and has a lot of integrity. Well done Trader Joe's. I appreciate the great value, bountiful array of quality food and the overall pleasantness of the shopping experience.

Winco was new to me and while not related to WinDixie it has a range of basic and affordable house brands as well as name brands. with a good produce section. I'm not sure about the meet dept but it looked clean, well organized and stocked. I was there for bread and eggs and left with two heavy and tightly packed bags of food for under $50. I won't be hitting the HEB at dawn/ 7AM anymore to beat the crowds, I'll do Winco once a month when I wake up early at 4AM and can get there from Plano with zero traffic and red lights. They have better prices on a lot of things than Walmart and certainly than Kroger. If your grocery bill is exploding the last year or two try shopping here at least once a month. Best part was the checker said they are an employee owned company which is a huge plus to me over over these chains that are gouging people over profits on food and staples while not giving any benefits because they mostly staff with part timers. Did you know that Kro-ger made $1.24 BILLION PROFIT in 4Q25, that was in 3 months of the 2025 year. Search for Kro-ger 2025 profit and you can see the SEC report!!

I'm really ready to start an OnlyPans for the broads who can't and I don't mean one recipe or twelve, you better be able to make anything in existence (and I'm talking every cuisine, every item imaginable) from scratch - PERIOD. It's funny having recently relocated to TX and people sharing bars with me. Honey, as much as I love a great marg and some brown liquor idgaf about a bar - point me to your best grocery stores. I'm still obsessed with H-E-B, every time I walk through the door I fall in love all over again. I'm in very serious relationships with Eatzi's and Central Market as well but H-E-B just won't fall off. They are on their shi* in a real way. I wandered in today because I wasn't able to secure my garnish for dinner and needed some fresh parsley. I was dehydrated from a trail run in 86 degrees and 30mph winds in November and the wine stations just hit! One after another, all over. I mean I'm not loving my relocation but the way TX takes drinking seriously is very much aligned with the way I take drinking seriously. I walked here, so I was ready to help myself to every tasting station they had, in every dept. I mean tastings in the produce section, tastings in the bakery, tastings in the dry goods - LA needs to bump up their grocery store tastings and get on this level. A grocery store wine tasting is really a beautiful thing. I can't rave about this location anymore than I already have. I am head over heels. I fill my Rx's here, floral is outstanding, balloons lovely, bakery superb, prices on meats unreal. Holiday items always on point. There's not more I can say. I am a huge fan. H-E-B meets my needs in a real way, but of course I still must dabble at all of my other spots because they do too ;) LOVE this store, one of the very few places I will miss dearly when I depart from 75024.
