I hope they are using Ebay prices for items that actually sold, not what are being asked It is staffed by all volunteers and last year they gave $1 million to the Hill Country Youth Ranch. That sounds like a lot but given expenses have been exceeding revenue by over $1 million a year the Youth Ranch Foundation continues to cover it but their money won't last for ever. I have friends who moved to the Big Springs Ranch for Children in Leaky which is part of HCYR to be volunteer live in grand parents. Beautiful setting with a working ranch, charter school and chapel but I believe only 2 of their 6 cabins are in use now. It's hard to get staff when you are that far from a good sized town.

Several stands had fresh produce - it was like a mini farmer's market. They have plenty of snack stands and beer is 3 bucks. Most of the stands are hotdogs, chicken nuggets, and popcorn, but if you take your time, you'll find two hidden gems with decent tacos, etc. The place is so big, you really have to hunt for them though.
