Luckily there are 3 more Dollar General stores within driving distance they will be getting my business from now on. The employee that is sick is sorely missed things were exactly opposite when she was there.

I had no excuse, unfortunately, to buy what I really wanted (gorgeous period hat, taffeta bustled skirt and matching jacket, petticoat, chemise, corset, boots, stockings), but we did leave with a one-of-a-kind hat for my husband, a shirt each for my husband and teenage son, and a really cool jewelry set for me - crystal encrusted spur rowel necklace and earrings.
