I was happy to find freshly shelled pecans, It's a Texas thing, I have to have them when I see them. Come to find out, Ken is from Texas too! I guess Texan knows Texan and instantly felt those good vibes. I should have bought more pecans to go home and bake me a pecan pie but this time I was unprepared with cash... yeah, please bring cash if you stop by. He's got bee pollen, local honey, a variety of flavored pistachios, my favorite, habanero, chili lime, jalapeño, and about 5 more flavors, plain pecans, salted roasted and candied. I have a loyalty card, which helps me save 10-40 cents a gallon of gas when I tank up. Shop before 8am or after 8pm. Avoid the first Wednesday of the month as that is when retirees flood the store for their 10% discount. The deli isn't stocked until 10:30, and no baked chicken until later. I do like their deli offerings. Best deals for that is late afternoon. I find their meats and chicken cheaper here than Safeway. Always check the ads. They often have unannounced specials. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to move through. It can get crowded in the vegetable aisles, though. I wasn't crazy about the company switching to self-check lanes. I prefer a large load to be checked by an employee, rather than me being watched by a high schooler. There are usually two lanes with employees for that, but they can get long. Parking is plentiful.
