I waited 1 hour and still no help... the older man said the manager knows but it busy. I waited another 30 minutes and still no answer.... I looked for the manager in the store and found her! I reminded her that the nice older man was waiting for her approval and there a line in the tire center- She was rude! She said it's not her priority and she'll get there when she does.... I told her he's been waiting for awhile and I said thank you my appointment was over an hour ago .... She was rude Again and said move out of the costumer service line. No " I'm sorry and I will help" no please set out of the line and I will get to you soon". Nothing! Just rude, nasty , older big woman barking orders . Shame !!! This lady needs to learn to desolate herself and the situation. She needs training on customer service. In my opinion she's too old and grumpy to be working anyway. My…read moreprescription has never been ready when they told me it was so I have to walk around the store until they fill it (apparently they don't fill your prescription until you're actually there). My most recent visit was the worst. I arrived at 6PM and even though it's supposed to be open until 8PM the manager yelled at me through the glass and said they were closed. I tried calling after that to check to see if it was ready. The first two times no one answered, but on the third try the manager said my prescriptions would be ready that Thursday. I waited until Friday to be sure and went in and waited in line for more than a half-hour. When I got to the counter, the manager said they hadn't filled them yet, per usual, and to stand next to an end cap for a half hour and wait for them. A half hour later he gave me one prescription and said they couldn't fill the other because they couldn't get it. I'm reasonably sure he was lying as he's lied about everything else. Even though I get my groceries at Smith's, I'm getting my prescriptions filled elsewhere from here on. Spending hours trying to get a prescription filled and being lied to constantly by the pharmacist in the process would be self-abuse if I kept doing it.

The selection here is great. They recently remodeled so it's clean and organized and they don't often move things around which is great. This store is a bit smaller than the others nearby in Reno, but still offers plenty. My favorite sections are the freezer and wine selections. So many great grab and go freezer meals at TJs and the wine selection at this store is great. They have a great offering of liquor and beer as well and they support lots of local breweries and distilleries. Love it! The service is awesome here. They always have lots of cashiers and the lines move fast. They often give out samples of new products as well as cheese and wine. When I'm not shopping for groceries at Costco, this is where you can find me! Go Trader Joe's!

This is a gas station my Dad (who owned one years ago) would like as the gas pump areas, convenient store, and bathrooms are all clean and well maintained. The Carson Valley Market is part of the greater Carson Valley Inn complex with the hotel/casino and RV Park all adjacent. That may explain why the convenience store has a much better selection than expected, maybe due to "built in" clientele. And their good service clearly follows from that.

We like this better than South Lake Tahoe because it has fewer crowds and is just 30 minutes from South Reno and Carson City. Quality/Quantity - Incline's Raley's is always good. This manager does a GREAT job maintaining this location. Even when Incline is full of visitors (tourists), this location still has high standards. Always positive in stock conditions. The best part is that they really do not have any good competitors, but that does not stop them from being good. You have to drive all the way to Kings Beach to go to Safeway or Tahoe Central, etc. I know Grocery Outlet has entered the area, but I have not visited them yet and really do not plan to. I just noticed more improvements! Tap room, community center (similar to the one we have in South Reno!), dry aged beef, etc. Atmosphere - Always clean and inviting. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 11pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Team is always friendly. Price - Considering the limited competition, I feel the prices are fair. I expect to pay a little more when I shop the Raley's/Nob Hill brand. Owner Suggestion - This manager is doing a great job, and I hope Raley's appreciates and recognizes this. If not, at least we do! Sure, the food was less fresh than straight out of the kitchen, but it was still tasty, fresh enough, and a pretty decent deal at $10.99/pound. They also have a separate pizza table by the slice (or you can order whole pies), and 5 different soups (priced by cup or bowl). Not very crowded either time I came (5-ish), and after checkout, there were utensils, napkins, and water. Picked them up, and sat at a nearby, convenient table. All in all, a good experience.
