We love peeking around all the options when we visit here because there's so many different selections. The beer choices are our favorite. I snagged the sweet baby java by du claw. It's a chocolate peanut butter porter that is infused with espresso beans. It rocked my world. I'm a big fan of these types of porters and I really enjoyed how lite the beer was. You could really taste the espresso hints. My husband got a few IPAs he really enjoyed also! There were plenty of cash registers and cashiers open. They also offered to carry out our groceries out to our car but we thought it was silly because we only had a few. Customer service is very friendly here all around and a good place to shop!

The aisles are so narrow you can't get through them for boxes piled up in the way, not to mention you can't pass another shopper. The produce is all stale and much of it rotten. If Ingles Markets ever comes to Birmingham they'll put the Pig and Publex out of business. You should visit one sometime and see what a real grocery store looks like.

So I go to the drive thru there are two cars in front of me. But it felt like Chick Fil A service that day because there wasn't a long wait time at all. When I got to the window I was greeted and asked the usual questions. They found my sons script quickly and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes once I got to the window. My recommendations: 1: Always submit your scripts via calling for refills or the app. 2: Make sure you have it where you receive text messages about your scripts. Because not only do they text you when it's ready they text you when it's time for a refill also (certain meds). 3: If you can go to the pharmacy before 4:00pm or after 7:00pm. During the peaks times the wait is longer and the service is slower and as good.

Moved script to Publix had medication with in thirty minutes.When we moved script to Publix got a text from CVS it was ready which it wasn't drive thru pharmacy tech didn't know very much said some one had picked it up already got another pharmacy tech said he could fill it.The pharmacist finally came over said prescription had been moved to Publix. The pharmacy techs here seem to not know very much and need training. Have been customers here for a long time second time not be able to get medication. It's a typical Family Dollar layout, except the aisles are a bit wider than in a regular store. This made it easier to turn around without bumping into stuff. So far, it's neat, orderly and well-stocked. The refrigerated and frozen section seems larger than the normal store and A LOT of options and brands from which too choose. It takes up the entire right wall of the store. Coming here certainly beats running to a large store for something quick like Tyson frozen chicken fingers or deli meat and cheese. I didn't look at the prices, but I'm sure you're paying for the "convenience". They also have a pretty nice greeting card selection as well as items like socks and home decor. There were only two employees working (unless there was on in the back), but this early evening close to 4 pm. I will assume that there will be more working on the weekends. This store JUST opened so it wasn't crowded, but I'm sure once people realize it's open, it will become busy as it's located on a heavily traveled street and close to many neighborhoods and apartments. Going to Wal-Mart is a big no-no for me and the CVS nearby can be overpriced for some items. This Family Dollar (though it IS expensive for some items) fills a void on this side of town. It's close to the interstate so if one is traveling, they don't have to go far off the beaten path to get to it. I may not stop here for all of my shopping, but for staples like bleach, paper towels, drinks or last-minute toys for a kids' birthday party, it can't be beat.

This really made my visit memorable. I was only here to pick up a few things. This location is really clean and nicely arranged. They have a nice selection in every department. I also love that they have a dedicated recycling station. This Target location is always buzzing but it's not hard to get in and out of.

I had put a $50 dollar bill and some change into the self checkout machine. I didn't get anything…read moreback but the change. I had to call the police and everything because they kept saying that it was nothing they could do because their footage is not picking up anything of me inserting any money into the machine, which I know is definitely a lie. The assistant manager and store manger were both saying the same thing basically. I had called corporate and I was told that I should hear something back pretty soon. Please, try not to use any cash in their self check machine because it will keep your money and they will use every excuse in the book to not give you back anything. Cameras DO NOT pick up on every little detail. I called the police and everything, they instantly sided with them but it's okay because they're gonna lose way more than $50 dollars. I am about to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau because what they did was wrong and definitely unethical. Plus, very unfriendly.. I just won't take my business here anymore. I hope this location goes out of business. I had never had an issue until last night. ETA: I eventually got my $50 dollars back. I still feel like the next time I go to any five below other than this one, I will just let an associate assist me with the card or money and if they can't, I'll just go elsewhere.
