Immediately I noticed how much more spacious this layout was in comparison to other shoe dept stores in town. There is a large clearance section that included a variety of sizes for men , women and children. Lots of comfortable seating available throughout the store . The staff here is friendly and readily available to provide assistance if needed- they checked on me several times while I browsed the aisles. I didn't buy anything but I will visit this store again . They have a reasonably priced inventory and something for all ages!

First- Katura (Hope I spell that right), was sweet and went out of her way to make sure I got help I needed on register. Second- the short blonde girl at Starbucks (I've mentioned her before in a different post, her name is Merideth) was still amazing and so cheerful it made me happy just to interact with her. Third- the tall black young man at Starbucks wouldn't stop mumbling behind the blonde girl's back. I don't know if it was threats or he was on his phone (he had an AirPod in his ear), but it definitely made me uncomfortable, not only for myself, but for her as well. Fourth- the short blonde woman who was pushing an employee cart was incredibly rude. I asked where to find a product, and she just replied in a very rude manner "it's over there" and vaguely pointed in the direction I had just come from. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this pharmacy. I was given a prescription…read morebag with my name and information on it, but inside was a medication bottle with someone else's name and prescription. This is a serious safety and privacy issue. When I returned to get my correct medication, I was met with a dismissive attitude instead of accountability. I was asked "what are you looking for?" as if the error was my responsibility to sort out. It turned out my medication had been placed in someone else's bag. The interaction ended with my medication being handed to me without apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. Medication errors are not minor inconveniences , they can be dangerous. I strongly encourage others to open their prescription bags before leaving to ensure they have the correct medication. I have contacted corporate regarding this issue and hope steps are taken to prevent this from happening to someone else.

However, Village Pharmacy is less than a mile from my home and I pass by it at least twice a day. I have gone to Village Pharmacy several times to pick up various items, get covid shots etc. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Plus they are a private local pharmacy and I like the idea of keeping my money in my community. Not sure if they will be cheaper than my present pharmacy, but paying a little extra to keep the money in our community might be worth it. Will have to put this on my "to do list" this year.

These folks were nice and service was quick. I was doing this for about 8 months until our pharmacy close to home finally got my medicine back in stock. 2 months later they are out again and now these folks won't fill for me anymore. I was using my health insurance and everything, honest and upfront about the situation and there is absolutely no reason to refuse service to me. The real reason behind it is I only take 2 medications because I am otherwise healthy. If I had several they would have had no problem with it. But my 2 medications are apparently not adequate business to treat me like a person. Very sad hopefully this saves someone else the time and trouble.
