I like Target. This one doesn't have the selection that some do. It is a fine store for the basics especially if your willing to go to your second choice because your first choice is sold out. The prices are much better than Publix or Wynn Dixie. Aldi is less expensive but you never know what you will find. The Trussville store was recently remodeled and looks good. We like the Starbucks. All is clean and better stocked than it used to be. The staff at this store is great. I have had many a pleasant experience interacting with them and have always been treated courteously and kindly. If selection was broader and things were in stock I'd give it 5 stars. read more

NEVER AGAIN!!!! My husband ordered a small kitchen gadget that he paid for online to pick up in the store. Once we arrived, we were notified that the item had sold out. They didn't offer to locate another one, issue a rain check, nothing of the sort. My husband asked for a refund and we were told that he had to wait. The lady at the counter literally said, " you should have started your shopping earlier" I understand that it's busy with the holiday rush, but there was absolutely zero empathy or customer service. I came to pick up an online order recently. For the most part the process was smooth but I felt like the wait time for what I ordered was a little lengthy. No major issues ; the staff at guest services was okay. Gotta love Target, otherwise! However, I am extremely beyond depressed that the snack bar is gone. No more icees and popcorn! Our go to Target store when we're in Trussville/the only Target store up here. I'm a fan of scouring the clearance items, and you sure can find good deals (if you know where to look)! No hints from me!! Hehe Customer service has been good. Aisles are clear l and shelves are stocked. There's usually a bit of a wait in lines, but they recently added self checkout (at both ends), so hopefully that will help move folks along. read more

I would rather shop at Target than Walmart any day of the week. Sure, I may pay a little more for my items, but for good customer service, friendly cashiers and a pleasant shopping experience, I'll gladly fork over a few more dollars. The store sells the same items you would find at Walmart, K-mart, Family Dollar or Dollar General. However, a cool thing about Target is they also sell some pretty unique and trendy items that are unique to their store. I could attempt to describe these treasures, but I would be doing Target a disservice. If you've never shopped at Target, you are missing out on a hip, trendy shopping experience. While you won't break the bank shopping here, you will spend a few extra dollars. In the end, it's not a bad shopping experience and you'll find yourself going back time and time again. read more

This store is really big. I wandered around for about 30 minutes but didn't buy anything but some charcoal fluid. Not being familiar with the huge store's layout, it was difficult for me to find things! Finally had to ask where the photo albums were and no wonder I missed them, there was literally 2 to choose from. Maybe those are disappearing from shelves everywhere due to digital photography, Instagram, etc though? Anyway they have a lot of really pretty home goods but I wasn't shopping for that today. Home dept 4/5. Clothing depts are ok - 3.5/5 women, 2.5/5 men. Huge grocery section as well. I give this store 3.5/ 5 selection and 3.5/5 value - what you get for what you pay for (prices are high imho). Happy to round up to 4 due to cleanliness and friendly staff. read more

Over all another great entry in the Target franchise! They have a large spacious store that allows you to do all your shopping in one locations (Disclaimer - within reason of course). They have everything from household items on one side to groceries on the other side. This location always seems to be packed with people and typically has a pretty good inventory of items on the shelf. Interactions with the staff have always been pleasant. This seems to hold true from Target location to Target location (obviously from time to time you run into somebody having a bad day --- but really we all do it happens -- not worthy of a star deduct for an isolated occurrence). Remember to look at the end caps they can provide for some amazing discounts. If you see something you like and it hasn't been discounted to the price point you're willing to pay, as long as nobody else buys it, they will regularly lower the price until the item sells. Great location and would use much more frequently if it was closer to home. read more

I placed a pickup order with Target because Walmart didn't have the items I needed. So I placed a pickup order for a few items. The normal turn around time is 2 hours. However, the order was ready within 30 minutes. Fast service for a pickup the order. The had a promo, spend $50 and I would receive a $15 gift card from Target. So I made sure I had enough to earn my gift card. However, I received an email that 1/2 of my order was canceled because it wasn't available in store. So I went to pick up the items that were ready. When I got in line there was one customer being helped and another in line. The process was fairly quick, I made it to the front of the line. I was greeted with a smile by Anthony. He apologized about the cancellation of the other items. I asked him did he know when they will have more in stock. He told me they get a truck every week. Not only did he address my issue, but he also provided extra info so I could get what I wanted. And guess what? Even with some of my items being canceled. Target still gave me my $15 gift card. It wasn't my fault for the cancellation. Great job, Target. Great customer service, and great availability of items. Target always has registers open and staff available for customers. read more

Love their store. Target's Trussville location is always clean and neat. Everything is always in place. No real lines always fast friendly service. Personally I love the self check out which is located on the front (of course) at both ends. Side Note. The HOMEWOOD location near Brookwood Mall is messy. Nasty and very unorganized. Target is convenient for me to get things I need for the house. Since my job is in the same shopping area, I either come here before or after work. Mostly, I'll just get items for myself or get some food when I'm on lunch. It's cool they added a self checkout that way you don't have to wait in the regular line, but you can't purchase any alcohol beverage at the self checkout. They have a Starbucks cafe for anyone that got to have that energy boost to get your shopping done or you can just relax and take a break in the cafe. If you're craving for any fresh buttery popcorn, you can purchase either a regular or large size and they just added a caramel flavor popcorn for anyone that want the combination of both sweet and salty. Customer service is always on top notch and I've never have any issues here. read more

The pharmacy staff are always very helpful! The ladies here are sweet and Norman is amazing. They will go out of their way to help their patients. Your prescriptions will be filled in 15-20 minutes at most here. They are extremely fast. The facility is very clean and well lit. read more

Went here for a light night visit for some home staples. There was ample parking as well as very well lit. Everything seemed fresh and the store was very clean! Prices for normal staples were alittle higher than what I would normally like to pay but I was able to get in and out in a hurry while finding everything on the list. The harder at part for me in stores like that is not to buy extra. They pretty much have EVERYTHING you could want. If you don't mind the prices the convenience and friendly staff make up for the extra pulling from your wallet. read more

I like this target. They have a better selection than the other ones. I gave them 4 stars because the bathrooms are not always clean. Every single time I come here you can walk pass the bathroom and smell the sour smell a mile away. The grocery side is nice as well. They always have the best looking fruit and meat I've ever seen. Target shares took a dive, and so has the number of available staff. If you want to check out on a weekday night, be prepared to see 2 registers out of like 100 avilable. The profits aren't what they used to and they have cut overhead. The store is convinient, its cute, and the stuff is not bad. The prices are all jacked. If you see an item on clearance, that means its almost as cheap as walmart regular price. Go to the store and scan barcodes with amazon, you will pay a fortune here. But its trendy! The target red card debit card is pretty neat. You get 5% off just about everything. Its not all that great to discount something thats marked up 30% by 5%. Not to mention they are savings 5% by not using visa mastercard etc, and tracking your purchases! But hey, where else can you get an IPAD for 5% off? use your pharmacy rewards 5% full day card in combination... then its 5% off + 5% off IPAD, clever right? dont tell your friends, they will catch on. I like the people at this store. I like the managers. I like what they sell. I don't like the Target Corporation much and I don't like high prices. read more

Date : March 12, 2021 I had the worse experience ever at Target store in Trussville . Two black women were very rude to me they told me their name were Tamicka and Angela ( I think that how it spelled ). I went in and got some clearance items for my 4 kids to keep them busy during spring break. And I notice I was over charged for two items one 1.79 other 4.49 . I went back in and explained the issue that I was charged a extra one of two items she refunded me the $6 and something . Next, she just took the items and put them up in the back next another person came to her and started talking to her and she was talking about me behind my back. I told her I needed my items back since those were paid for. She grab my receipt from me and walked off. Next , the same lady that talked about me came out along with the cashier and said she the AP ( usually she at Guest Service ) and claimed she watched the whole video. And I knew was untrue I had tons of items and I know what I had I spent $263 bucks . She refused to give me back my item unless I rebuy it again . And it put me back into my overcharged situation. I had to call guest relations on these two women they bullied me over $6 I left store unhappy and upset . I worked at this store many years ago it never was like this before. read more

I went to Target specifically for the product Elf makeup. I went to the Trussville, Al location however this location does not even have Coco shade Elf makeup at All. No space indicating that it was ever in stock.. Now this bothers me, I don't know if it was a demographic error or because of the area I was in. However other shades were available.
