World Market has all kinds of treats and nice home items. I always visit this location because the staff is friendly and I can always find what I'm looking for. My section to browse is the food section. The pasta sauces are my favorite. I also enjoy the drinks from around the world, as well as the olive oils and apple juice. Their coffee section is also top notch. I enjoy visiting during the holiday season. Make sure to sign up for rewards, so you can get good coupons and free items. For example, today we got free wrapping paper. They also try to checkout customers fast and usually have all of their lines open, which is a plus. I highly recommend you to stop in for a visit. read more

I've always been a fan of this store chain. It's definitely a store where you can venture to and find food, decor, home goods , etc from all over the world. That's so cool! I must admit that it's been awhile since I'd come to World Market , so I really enjoyed browsing around the aisles. I made a few small purchases and all those items were reasonably priced. The staff was nice and helpful like always. If you are a wine drinker, World Market has a nice selection to choose from. Prices on wine are also reasonably priced. read more

This is one of my all time favorite stores. I love the variety of home decor items and Knick knacks that are available. There is also a large variety of international foods, a decent wine selection, and various teas. This will definitely be on my list of most frequented. read more

I came to this store with my two children (August 07/2023). I told my son, no runnin even though he wasn't running but it's something I tell my kids regardless. One of the employee passed by us and made a remark about this is not like shopping at Walmart! I smiled it off and proceed to the check lane. It was an older lady there. She told me about signing up for text so I can earn points. So I did signed up for text messaging so I can get points. She handed me my receipt and told me. I just saved $6.00 and now I can go and buy me some Tacos (I'm not even Hispanic). I was racially profiled from the moment I walked in, me and my two kids (mix kids). The fact that this store is called WORLD MARKET where you guys sells products from all over the world is just mind blowing . That was very rude and not called for. While shopping for an item, I asked a few of the floor sales people to help reach an item from the top. I had already looked up behind the shelf and saw that the had the item in stock. I asked three different ladies for their help to reach it, since the ladders say employees only. The first two workers were no help and lied to say there were no more in stock, when I saw them. They were too lazy to stand on the ladder. Finally, a third worker helped me get them down from the top and apologized for the first two. Really need to train your employees on their kindness and customer services! read more

This is the kind of store that you can hope to find what you are looking for, but you aren't always guaranteed. For me, all of the cute decor stuff is not up my alley... but my wife loves it. They have furniture, unique gift ideas, foods from around the world, kitchen items and drinks. The one thing I can always come to World Market and find a good deal on is wine. They have a fantastic selection and I have discovered some at really good prices and they will often do "20% off red wines" or something like that periodically. For the food items, if you are looking for some obscure things that might be a little more upper end or international, they have a wider variety than your local grocery might (in particular for us - we found truffle salt) As for this location, they have always been extremely friendly and helpful. I have needed boxes, advice on products, and the best deals on things.... they have always been willing to help with a smile on their face. Aside from wine shopping, this is not usually a destination for me personally. But the times I have gone for that or gone with my wife, the shopping experience has always been pleasurable. read more

First time in a World Market. And I'm totally into this store. Great items. Can't wAit to go back.

We basically NEVER miss World Market when we visit The City of Vulcan. It's a special stop for Christmas shopping, and even for Easter and Halloween (though they always sell out of all the good stuff, even online...I still want that Bride of Frankenstein line they had!). And by that, I mean in terms of food (for yourselves and for gifts), décor, and even just "window shopping." There's always something new to buy and try. It's a shame they're too pathetic to put one in Huntsville, though there have been rumors about it - even from store clerks - for YEARS. If I tried to list everything I'd bought and enjoyed here, I'd run out of room. Just see it for yourself. It's not too far from Sak's, or Brookwood Mall, or even Five Points. Passed by and saw clearance signs so my shopping addiction made me take a look. The store was well organized, not cluttered, had signage showing what was discounted. I was greeted by a nice lady. When I was ready to check out she quickly opened her register so I didn't have to wait. Oh this is how more stores should be managed. I have been to many a World Market and have not always been terribly impressed. Face it, this is the kind of place you kinda happen to go into when you're on a different shopping adventure. Hit or miss - sometimes it's good sometimes it sucks. Not at this one! This particular location seems to get in a great selection of merchandise - Things are always changing, yet I can count on them to have that gigantic white platter (and other platters to match) that I need for some soiree I am hosting. Very consistent on quality as well as quantity. There's never a time I have been to this location and found only 5 napkins when looking for a set of 6. The same goes for the placemats, napkin rings, and serving items. And ... the linen / cotton napkin selection is awesome, by the way. We use cloth napkins at every meal at my house (just the way I was raised) ... I buy a good deal of my collection at World Market. They also have a good selection of candles - everything from the scented pillars to the non-scented tea lights. I use tea lights a LOT around the house, so I go through them at a high rate of frequency - best place to get them by the 100s! They also have that white votive in plain glass (that I scatter around the entire porch and deck area to light it when we have company) by the BOXFUL! At a pretty darned good price. Enough with the necessities ... Check out their seasonal decorations - The summer pillows are always bright and cute and perfect for your outdoor seating areas. And their Christmas cards, decorations and ornaments are wonderful too! You can also find some great pantry items too! They have our favorite Arborio rice there (and that's the only place I can find it in Birmingham!) They pretty much have it all and a great selection of it! read more

This World Market is very organized and clean. We had a great time walking around and looking at all the different items. There was furniture, jewelry, home decor, sweets, cards, seasonal items...just a good blend. Be prepared. It is expensive. It kind of reminds me of Anthropoligie, and that can certainly be expensive. The cashier was very friendly. Honestly, we really enjoyed our time there. It is nice to see items from various countries as well as view an assortment of furniture and picture frames. Their website usually has some great deals (if you join their World Market Explorer program, you get even better coupons) and my orders are ready to pick-up in the store in two hours or less. Talk about acting like a kid in a candy store...I LOVE THIS PLACE!! As a redneck foodie, this place is my Valhalla. I find stuff for grilling, smoking, cooking....I don't think I ever even made it to the furniture...which, by the way, appears to be a large collection. From the funky to the practical, this place has it all. I was looking for an Irish ketchup mixed with stout beer. AND THEY HAD IT! World Market is located right off of Hwy. 280 adjacent to Best Buy and Target. This is a great store to buy foods from all over the world. They sell other things like desks, dishes, decorations but I usually go to the food section to grab Asian and Swedish snacks, pasta sauces, etc. You'd be surprised to discover that they sometimes carry products that are cheaper than a discounted retailer (i.e. Target). For example, I bought Dave's Gourmet Butternut Squash Pasta Sauce from here for about $5.99 but Target had it for $7.99. So if you explore around, you might find something you like and pay less. If you've never been here, take some time and look around. read more

This past weekend I went in to grab a bottle of wine for a special occasion. Upon arrival, I found out about your 40% off wine sale from your manager Caroline. I enjoy exploring this store but one employee for this store is super annoying. She harassed me to sign up for the rewards program. She was incredibly rude to me while I was trying to shop and made me really uncomfortable. At a later time I found out that the annoying employee was actually the Manager. Which is embarrassing since I have seen this manager talk down to her employees and use her phone while customers stand in line trying to check out. I prefer the World Market in Patton Creek. It is a little extra drive but it is worth it for great customer service. read more
