I do recommend this place for odds and ends items. Pickers is a store that has items of a classic nature. This is a huge store with a variety of items to choose from, so you can spend a lot of time looking around. I like the used music department. The CDs are only $5. Irondale Pickers is a very nice place to spend a hour or two looking at the huge selection of antiques and not-so-much-antiques. The cashiers are very friendly and helpful too. And I agree with the other reviewers, the store is very neat and clean inside. I did notice that some of the vendor's prices are a little higher than other vendors, but that's life, because some grocery stores are a little higher than other grocery stores (I won't name names). If you want to burn 2-3 hours this is your jam... Lots of vendors and it's set up well. Prices range from high to low ... I bought a towel for my new kitchen. Cute towels too. I did go in the bathroom and it does need updates and it has an old smell. read more

This is one of the most interesting and unique stores I have been to. There are a TON of small setup booths that you can browse at your convenience. I did not know what to expect. I saw everything from golf clubs, cups, jewelry, paintings, and antique dolls. You can find almost everything and anything here! It was pretty entertaining! read more

Don't be fooled by the name. It's not just an antique store; it has a lot of other treasures. I almost didn't stop in because of the name as I'm not into buying antiques. Irondale Pickers is one of those stores where you could spend hours in. I wasn't looking for anything in particular so my visit wasn't quite as long. The layout of the store is sectioned off with different booths , each owned by a different vendor. I don't know the exact number of booths but there were many to look through. Some of the booths had deals where you could save 50% off. I saw several booths advertising this. I ran across many interesting items but I didn't buy anything. I will say that I definitely will revisit this store in the near future because this seems like the perfect store to score some priceless treasures! read more

Such a poor experience in this location today. I saw an item I wanted. Decided to finish looking before I got the basket off the wall. When I finished shopping, I came back to get the item. The vendor was in the booth and was in front of the basket, I ask in a joking way, are you discounting items. The vendor said I'm pricing this item which I thought to be an odd lie seeing as to I saw the price 30 minutes prior. I ask the vendor how much she was pricing the item and it was $100 more than she had on it before. Shocked, I ask if she would take $150 which is what she had on it. Her husband said they would have to have $200. Politely said thank you and walked out. Keeping it classy Good luck vendor #155!! read more

Originally, I had posted a pretty rough review about Irondale Pickers. Granted, I did have an unfortunate experience there. BUT, my experience had nothing to with the staff or the actual place. It was with something a vendor had done. When I contacted the staff. Just to make them aware of what had happened. They were super kind and helpful. Truthfully they went above and beyond. They even helped to get my situation rectified. In a way I never expected. I'm truly grateful. And I wanted to apologize for the first review. You guys can't control how others act or what they do. I have been to hundreds of antique stores across the US. I've never been to a place as clean and organized and visually appealing as Irondale. I think they must have several hundred separate vendor booths in this enormous warehouse-size storefront. Despite this, all of the inventory is dust-free, clean, well presented & aesthetically arranged to make a very enjoyable shopping experience. I found the prices to be very competitive, and some booths were remarkably affordable. The eclecticism, and variety of the contents are almost overwhelming. It really would take you two hours to wander this store and examine all of the inventory. The place is really impressive. This massive undertaking has been managed quite well. read more

This flea market is located inside of a small parking plaza with a huge parking lot so parking should not be an issue. This location was previously a Walmart so the inside is hugggeee!! It's a bunch of different vendors who've rented spaces to sell their items. It's honestly a bunch of nice items, most items are reasonably priced. They had a few candle vendors, vinyls, clothes, furniture, decor, literally everything you could imagine! Mask are required. It was not overly crowded when I went and I went on a Saturday around 2-3pm so I was happy about that. Staff seemed pretty friendly, I did witness one of the employees helping a customer carry one of the motorized carts that had stopped working to the front of the store. You can literally get lost inside of this store lol, you can walk around for hours just looking at the items. I didn't come with the intent to purchase I just wanted to see what the store had to offer, I will definitely be back to visit the next time I'm in town! This is a really cool place that I heard chatter about previously. But my wife and my interest peaked when we actually saw it. It moved in to the former At Home location... which is HUGE. I wasn't sure what it was. So after a Sunday afternoon nap for our babies, we decided to make it an outing. As it turns out, it is set up like a consignment shop with booths. About 1/2 of the space is filled with booths with probably 1/3 still empty. They are very new and even have some of these spots rented, but not filled. Another big chunk of the store is taken over by a closeout "booth". But it is big enough to merit it being a store itself since they have their own entrance and everything (review to come!). Like I said, they are not running at full speed yet. But that doesn't prevent my wife and I from looking at everything and even buying a couple of things. This is one of those niche stores that not everyone like. But we both LOVE this type of place for totally different reasons. This has the potential to be one of our favorites... if they keep moving in the right direction. They are very friendly and getting new stuff every day. Right now, they still need to fill some space and even some of the new booths are scarce. But they have us intrigued to go back and see what has changed over the next few months. Another awesome antique store. Quite large. You could easily spend an hour or more here. The people are friendly. The displays are nice and showcased the types of items you can find in the rest of the booths. I scored an antique mirror that was truly one of a kind. My hubby found a hot wheel. We will definitely make this a place to stop on our travels between Jackson MS and North Augusta SC. read more

Best way to shop at a flea market is inside, with AC, and a level floor. This is a much better place than where I used to spend my weekends after dinner. Some of the items are new and have auctions, some are one of a kind. New place that is slowly been filling up with vendor booths during the time I have been going there. I love shopping antique malls for odds and ends so I have been looking forward to this one filling up. It's getting close! I only wish they had better hours on Sunday. They only open after 1 p.m. Sundays and the short hours make it difficult to visit sometimes. It would also be nice if they had more shopping carts for people who have a hard time carrying stuff through such a large area while browsing. I hate finding something I want to buy when I first arrive and having to carry it through the whole place. Yes, they have a couple of hold tables where you could leave your stuff, but when I find a treasure, I want to make to make sure no one else finds it too. They have clean restrooms which is always a plus, the staff all seem friendly and it is well lit and kept tidy. Parking is plentiful and there are large carts available to help you move any larger pieces you might find. I know this because I helped my daughter when she purchased a vintage buffet from there. There are nearby food places if you want a break while shopping. Overall, if you like antique malls, this place is fun. read more

We went there two weeks ago and while still many booths "in progress" found the staff very nice and loved walking past the booths. Had no intention of buying anything but scored on three items. Spent $35. and when I looked on Ebay found those three items could have cost $175. Good addition to Irondale! read more
