It does help to visit on different days of the week because some of the best deals are day-specific. Friday is worth the trip for the half-price coffee alone. Thursdays are probably my favorite day to shop because the store tends to be quieter in the morning, but Fridays are definitely the day to go if you're looking for some of their better specials. One thing I really love is the breakfast meat they cook fresh in the morning and put out on the hot bar. You can grab a container of bacon or sausage and be on your way. The bacon is especially great because we'll buy extra and use it for other meals later that day or even the next day. The store itself is always absolutely immaculate, and the staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. And then there's the coffee. This location has a Boxcar Coffee shop inside, and it's fantastic. Their Boxcar Blend whole bean coffee is superb. We also buy one of their darker roasts and blend the two together at home to make our own house blend, which we love. The baristas are wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely know coffee. If you're someone who enjoys talking about beans, roast levels, brewing styles, and different flavor profiles, they can absolutely carry that conversation. Between the clean store, great staff, fresh breakfast options, weekly deals, and one of my favorite coffee stops, Lowe's Foods has become one of my favorite grocery stores to shop.

The store is pretty cool with a bar where you can get a flight of beers , a coffee shop not a Starbucks , dry aged beef in the butcher shop , nice produce , and everything in between. The employees are very nice and helpful. The store is clean and well organized. They also have a gas station on the premises as well as other shops and restaurants in the shopping plaza. My only complaint is it's in Carolina Forest. After getting groceries and gas I went to the exit with stop light to make a left turn and I was in a huge line that wasn't moving. The traffic light would only cycle to the Yellow Turn Signal so only one car at a time was getting through. It was super busy with traffic. I changed lanes and made a right to go down to another light and turn around to make a left at that light which did do the Green Left Turn Signal. I made it the 3rd cycle. I heard about traffic here , but didn't know it was this bad. So I won't be returning here for this reason. Food Lion is only about a mile or 2 away from where I'm staying and unfortunately the ribs I came to get were not even that good ! Dang.

Also found a eon shaving cream that works well for me, and helps with shaving and has no itch afterwards. We then headed to the card section, and I actually found a fathers day card for 1.00! They had quite some selections too, both regular and discounted. even found a retirement card, but then put it back after ringing it up and it was $5.00! Then we went to the back to the toiletries section, and got 1 lysol mango hibscous. The only thing is that they didn't have a combo pack for that one. We also brought some milk, yogurts and salads. Went to the self checkout when done. This self checkout does not have an item limit like the one on myrtle ridge. So both my mom and I paid for our items at the self checkout. For my items I paid 45.64 and charged it to a credit card. Store was clean and organized. Would definitely be back!

I don't interact with the employees as i'm more of a solo shopper, however the one time I do it's a terrible experience. I needed to make my rent payment through the customer service counter and I was working with an older woman named Tammy. First impression wasn't bad, just like any other. I explained to her what I was here for and she began the transaction. I apologized and told her it was my first time doing this and I wasn't sure what I needed to do. She felt very aggravated and just her attitude radiated laziness. I understand working isn't great and nobody really wants to, but if a customer is standing infront of you there's no need to turn to your coworker and sigh loudly and say "I want to go on break" as if i'm not there. I felt very uncomfortable when she wasn't even looking at me for the most part and sort of talked to me like I was a child who didn't understand anything. It was extremely hurtful especially after having such a hard and terrible day already. Some may say i'm sensitive but it's just a customer service thing that most companies teach. You never know what someone else is going through, you should always treat them nicely especially if they're being nice to you.
