They've never really bothered me but I could see how it might bother some people. The prices are the best around. I was able to get a great deal on some Carhartt shirts that I was looking for. They have a great selection of Columbia too and the prices seem to be even better than the Columbia outlet. The store has been at the same location since I started coming to Surfside over 30 years ago! Much has changed since then but I'm glad that Tomlinson's is still a yearly tradition for me.

There was a long line at the register but it moved quickly, and the cashier was very pleasant. There are arrows throughout the store regarding the flow of shopping traffic, only one person is allowed at the register at a time, clothing try-ons (as well as the dressing room) are disinfected prior to returning to the sales floor, and there are limitations with returns to ensure the safety of future shoppers. I work with four consignment shops in my area and Nells is the one that I will not recommend…read moreanyone who wants to CONSIGN close, jewelry, or handbags with them with them. Every time I receive a check or cash from consignment shops, I am always given a slip of paper showing what my items actually sold for not just a receipt showing what they were listed as price wise. When I went into Nells to ask for my payment check, they just handed me the price that the items were listed for. Yet my check was less than half of what they were listed for and I said can I see what they actually sold for and she says oh our computer program doesn't do that how is it every other consignment store between Ocean Beach and Myrtle Beach can show you exactly what your items sold for. That doesn't sound right to me. I won't be doing business with them anymore.
