I work with four consignment shops in my area and Nells is the one that I will not recommend anyone who wants to CONSIGN close, jewelry, or handbags with them with them. Every time I receive a check or cash from consignment shops, I am always given a slip of paper showing what my items actually sold for not just a receipt showing what they were listed as price wise. When I went into Nells to ask for my payment check, they just handed me the price that the items were listed for. Yet my check was less than half of what they were listed for and I said can I see what they actually sold for and she says oh our computer program doesn't do that how is it every other consignment store between Ocean Beach and Myrtle Beach can show you exactly what your items sold for. That doesn't sound right to me. I won't be doing business with them anymore. read more

I went to Nell's last year and again this year when I was visiting the area. I bought many great shirts and some jewelry. The clothes are in excellent condition. The women working there are super helpful. I definitely plan to return to Nell's whenever I'm in Sunset Beach! read more

We (my Fiancée, my sister, and I) walked in and were greeted by a woman (not sure if it was "Nell"). She immediately told us that it was a high end lady's consignment shop and told my fiancée which items were on sale and that there was a lounge chair in the back for men. She then asked us if we had any questions and I said yes and asked if there was a rest room. There was a delay and then she replied yes but it's for customers. My fiancée and I were both puzzled and offended. Were the three of us not customers (or potential customers)? And cannot a man shop for a gift for a female? We cut our visit short and spent our money elsewhere. We will share our experience with our friends and neighbors. read more

Nell's is a wonderful consignment shop! Nell is lovely and very helpful! The store is beautiful and so well-organized by color- I love that! My sister and I spent a cloudy morning perusing the racks and trying on things. There are a variety of name brands and prices. Items are very reasonably priced. All items are washed in the store before they go on racks, so you know it's clean! We'll definitely add it to our yearly trip! read more

Great to see Nell's is adhering to wearing mask and using hand sanitizer through the challenging period. Nell is always friendly and helpful. The shop is well organized and has great pricing!! A definite stop while vacationing at the beach!!! read more
