They then said they didn't sell half chickens when they had them for sale last week. Three guys were laying on the floor in the produce area trying to fix broken equipment. A wall was knocked down in the deli. The building is falling apart. The aisles are so cluttered that someone needs to call Hoarders.

The produce used to be good now you absolutely have to check the expiration date. The managers I have interacted with are way to inexperienced and have 0 customer service skills. The store has an oder to it that is unpleasing like spoiled meat and fish. We have switch our primary shopping to Slidell and only do spot shopping at Claiborne Hill. I hope someone at Aquistapace reads this and gets the problems fixed. I would prefer to support a local store.

Rouses Market was started by Anthony Rouse, Sr. back in 1960 with a single location in Houma, Louisiana. It has since expanded to over sixty locations across three states (Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama). The thing that I like best about Rouses Market are the local items and I am always heading home with several items that I simply cannot get in Florida. I picked up some local food stuff that I can only find in Cajun country. The staff at this location was friendly and professional and this store is pleasant and welcoming. All in all, I would definitely recommend this location of Rouses Market or any Rouses Market location for that matter. If you are in the area, come check them out. I give this particular Rouses Market location five stars overall for a completely positive and upbeat shopping experience.

Amazing for a location so far south that produce is grown for miles around. Seldom do they have anything packed fresh so there is no discerning what is fresh and what isn't. Forced to buy the pre-packaged stuff it's a crap shoot on what you're going to get. They can't get the Rouses built soon enough. I'm sure the small premium in price will be easily offset by the stuff I don't have to throw in the trash.

This is the first one I know of in this corner of Louisiana and the only one in Slidell. Note that this store is very small. They have something of everything, but not a lot of choices for any given item. The produce is excellent. Very fresh and well kept. The physical store is kind of old, but after the renovation it feels clean and nice. The staff are friendly. The hot food bar in the back is lots of fun. Daily specials and hot box lunches and lots of good food.

With fresh veggies it was moist & so tender! They now have a loyalty card which I got today. Plus they now carry my fav brand of ice cream & dairy items by Prairie Farms. I shop exclusively at Sunflower now that Greers has added a 10% surcharge on all their groceries (even premarked items). I do miss the deli but hopefully Rameys will put one in the poplarville store. Happy, friendly people work here...they greet every customer unlike Greers cashiers who rather text or chat amongst themselves. I haven't steppped foot in Greers since I was ripped off to tune of $18.96 on my grocery bill the 1st week they became "cash savers". Looking forward to shopping again next week at Sunflower/Rameys :)

What I found there was a actual butcher, employees who were polite,courteous, and eager to help you find what you need, as well as management staff working alongside their associates . Everyone, staff and customers alike all had smiles on their faces. The prices were reasonable, the meat was fresh, and it was well stocked. It is an older store but it was clean and well situated/organized. Store Specials begin every Friday and you can view the circular online as well as make out your list. My total bill was $129 and I got good quality food including canned, frozen, fresh meat and fresh produce. I am disabled and on a fixed income. I was able to manage this store and that means the world to me.. Parking was right in front and one of the associates put the items from my cart to the conveyor belt, bagged them, and then loaded them in my car!!!!!!! I didn't even have to ask! This is a true blessing. I am definately going to be a regular customer. Thank You Ramey's Marketplace!
