I mean, seriously, the people at the door are literally counting every item in your basket as you leave, why so much trouble? I am truly just trying to give you my money. Can we make it easier, please? The selection is awesome, though, and I find a lot of things fitting my current season - snacks without seed oils or refined sugar, rotisserie chickens that make wonderful dinners, lots of cool prepared stuff in the freezer section - like soup dumplings - and lots and lots of assorted gadgets and goodies. Today's tastings were on point, too - especially that quiche thing - fam, it was so, so very good. The employees are friendly, the store is clean, the parking lot is big, and the baskets hold more than you need...trust me, the freezer is hard to close and there are a few things stored in my bedroom. I'm definitely a bigger fan of Member's Mark, but Costco has some items you won't find at the blue store - like that maple syrup aged in bourbon casks or whatever it is. So so soooooo good. I can't wait for the next hiking day so I can make a plate of pancakes and drench them in the syrup. I almost wanna have it in a shot glass, really. There are a ton of member programs, but we just eat the food and Nurri, so I can't comment on any of it. Tuffaroo loves going to Costco, so we go - what more do you need to what?

Normally, I can't say enough good things about the employees at this location. They've all been so very helpful. The ball headed a gentleman. The glass was quite rude. When I asked him his name, he told me he doesn't give out his name. He continued to be very curt. It may be only my opinion, but I believe people who are in contact with the public at large should at least be courteous, even if they're having a bad day. To the management of the store, I would pull him off the register and put someone that could at least greet people with a smile and make them feel welcome instead of feeling like they were an imposition and purchasing products. I told the gentleman I would pray for him he says oh no, don't pray for me the last time I prayed I lost my wife and my daughter. Again making me feel even worse for this man. I don't know his situation and I can empathize with losing your loved ones. I also believe that when you go to work, you leave your personal problems at home. It's not the setting to divulge such information when someone was trying to go out of their way to be nice to them realizing it may just be a off day for them. I don't believe that I will be shopping at the Aldi any longer.

Some are fancy, some are casual, and some you can wear to church or in summer. There were also jeans and everyday clothes. The prices were very good. If so, you will understand what I mean when I say this store is very similar. If you didn't, visit and you'll get it. Lishman's is small. That doesn't mean you'll need a trip somewhere else to complete your shopping for the week. Since I don't live in Lacombe this isn't my go-to spot for groceries. What is is though is a great place to stop for an item or two as I pass through the area. Because the store is small compared to a Rouses, the aisles seem more narrow and packed to the gills with stuff. Passing another shopper requires patience, but most of us need more of that in our lives anyway. The meat section and produce section are smaller too, but again, they really have pretty much everything you need. There are two or three checkout lines that are staffed with super friendly cashiers and lines move quickly. Another thing that is different than many stores are the other customers. The last time I stopped in I must've been greeted by two people in the parking lot and three in the store. Maybe they weren't used to seeing a giant rando, but everyone was super friendly. If you find yourself in Lacombe and you need groceries, this is where you should shop.
