They have lots of limited edition foods, like on my last visit I saw Banana Creme Frosted Flakes, and special flavoured Oreos. It can be a bit messy in there, but hey it's a bargain outlet, so don't expect a shopping experience like you're going to a Williams-Sonoma, lol. The strip mall that this Ollie's is in is a bit rundown. This location is a bit more disorganized than others that I've been to in New York (I haven't been to any Ollie's in any other state though). I was on the fence my first couple of visits, it's not my favorite store but I find items I need or don't need for good prices. I was most pleased at Christmas time with selection for wrapping, decorating, storage, and even picked up a few unexpected gifts. They did not have such a great selection for Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving, so I was pleasantly surprised. I have had a membership card since my first visit for savings, and do round up, and participate in the $10 Gift program. Buy a gift for $10 donation and receive $10 value coupon. Staff is always friendly and efficient check out. I will continue to stop in for household needs and scope out seasonal selections!

However, I stopped in yesterday to check it out. The store is very open and the shelving units are very low. The aisles are short and are on both sides of the store. There is a deli, bakery, fresh produce, and the frozen section tucked away in the back of the store. Nothing about the store really wowed me, it's a grocery store, nothing fancy. The store seems a little outdated in my opinion and it's not as bright and vibrant as others. They had the brand "taste of inspirations" which is a brand that Giant, a grocery store back home has that I shop at. At least I can say that I've been inside.

Usually, we purchase our groceries from Walmart but will choose Hannaford in Watertown from now on. The gentleman that handled our pickup was polite and helpful. Hannaford had items in stock that Walmart never has and the prices were as good if not better.
