We happened to walk into this store after a late breakfast. My wife found a pair of shoes (of…read morecourse!) and I made an ass of my self by asking the salesperson for a beer after he offered a blind lady a glass of water. Big yucks! Actually, aside from the fact that this is a very nice store, carrying some very expensive but well-made brand name shoes, the service that several of the sales staff provided to the above mentioned blind woman and (yes, true) her blind daughter who were out for some new shoes, was beautiful to watch. Kudos to Conrad, who dealt with us and the blind lady with humour and elan. So, for lots of sales staff for such a small store, for a great collection of shoes and for excellent service to all concerned -- 5/5!

When I asked if their system accepts discover and other cards, Kimberly, the employee, exclaimed "Our system accepts them yes. We just don't take them." The majority of people I see thrifting nowadays are older individuals (70+) and college students. Being a student myself and being too young to apply for a non-student credit card such as the options in discovers program, being met with this response was disappointing and tedious. When I told Kimberly that thrifts had accepted my discover card prior to this interaction with her, she stated how those employees were just "new" and needed to be taught to only accept the two cards mentioned despite their system's ability to take any card. I don't think I'll be coming back again because of how negative this experience was.
