An Unforgettable Finger Lakes Experience: Ashley Lynn Winery…read more  5/5 Stars   If you visit the Finger Lakes region and miss Ashley Lynn Winery in Waterloo, NY, you're missing the absolute pinnacle of what this incredible wine country has to offer. This isn't just another winery - it's a testament to creativity, family heritage, and genuine hospitality that will leave you with memories to last a lifetime.    The Heart and Soul Behind the Name   Ashley Lynn Winery is named after one of the most extraordinary women you'll ever encounter - a creative force of nature who embodies beauty both inside and out. From crafting decadent, sexy chocolates to making homemade jams that taste like pure magic, from designing unique t-shirts to bedazzling her own car (yes, you read that right!), Ashley Lynn's artistic spirit permeates every aspect of this remarkable establishment.    An Experience Like No Other   What sets this winery apart isn't just the exceptional wines - though they are truly outstanding - it's the personal touch that makes you feel like family from the moment you arrive. Ashley Lynn herself offers intimate tours of the winery, sharing stories of her family's heritage and the traditions that have been lovingly preserved and passed down through generations. The commitment to authentic hospitality is evident in their generous free wine tastings, where you're encouraged to explore and discover your new favorites without any pressure.    Artistry in Every Detail   Even the wine labels tell a story of family creativity and love - beautifully designed by Ashley Lynn's daughter, adding another generation's artistic touch to this family legacy. It's these personal details that transform a simple wine tasting into a meaningful connection with the people behind the bottles.    Exceptional Wines That Captivate   The wine selection is nothing short of spectacular. Their signature Firefly White Wine is absolutely enchanting - a must-try that captures the magic of summer evenings in the Finger Lakes. The apple wines showcase the region's agricultural heritage with sophisticated flavors that surprise and delight. And if you're looking for something fun and refreshing, their creative wine slushies are pure genius - perfect for a hot day and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere in the region.    Unmatched Personal Service   What truly elevates Ashley Lynn Winery above all others in the Finger Lakes is the personalized attention every guest receives. This isn't a factory-style tasting room where you're rushed through a predetermined list. Instead, you'll receive thoughtful recommendations based on your preferences, stories about each wine's creation, and the kind of genuine care that makes you feel like you're visiting dear friends rather than just another winery.    The Verdict   In a region filled with excellent wineries, Ashley Lynn Winery stands alone as the absolute best the Finger Lakes has to offer. The combination of exceptional wines, artistic creativity, family tradition, and unparalleled hospitality creates an experience that goes far beyond wine tasting - it's a celebration of everything that makes this region special.   Don't just visit Ashley Lynn Winery. Experience it. Savor it. Let Ashley Lynn's passion for wine, art, and genuine human connection remind you why some places become unforgettable.   Highly recommended for: Wine enthusiasts, art lovers, anyone seeking authentic family hospitality, and everyone who appreciates the extraordinary attention to detail that transforms good into legendary.   Must-try: Firefly White Wine, Apple Wines, and absolutely any of their innovative wine slushies!

The outside displays are always enticing; everything from fresh herb plants to produce can be seen as a backdrop to a small outdoor seating area, which is a great place to chill once you've grabbed a quick ready-to-go item for a snack or lunch. Typical items are sandwiches, fresh pizza, baked goods. Also, coffee is pretty decent. I'm a big fan of their move to support gluten free products. They currently carry Purest, a brand that's based in ON, and every Wednesday is gluten-free day; they have pizza and sandwiches that are really yummy. And, today I even scored a GF brownie - delicious. Prices definitely reflect the quality, which I won't complain about - it just makes it a more occasional stop for me.

Delicious soup, spinakopita and other goodies. They sell almost all local produce, with some flux during the winter months. Lots of meat, cheese options as well as veggies and a growing section of other staples like flour and beans. CSA drop-offs also abound here and it sort of turns into a cool little hub of activity in the summer. Not really much by way of seating area except during the summer time when the outside area turns into a patio area. Also probably some of the best coffee in Kingston. Bueno bean is the bomb.
