I was in and out in about 30 minutes and was extremely happy with my decision to go with Chase. I also spoke about opening a business account which I will be going soon to open. I loved how I was able to conduct my banking and bill paying while I was deployed in Iraq back in 2005 (yes I'm an Army Reserve Soldier) and how this branch in particuler took care of me when I "lost my wallet" while in New Orleans. I've experienced nothing but pleasant, courtious and professional service from the tellers here and I would recommend this bank to anyone. One of my inquires was regarding a promo that I was unsuccessful at obtaining via their website. The banker seemed to not know how to apply it but told me he would contact their support team and get back to me. During this interaction I mentioned the mailing address twice. The banker also did not provide information on when the card would arrive, nor did they shut the door while discussing private information, and they provided incorrect information about the check deposit limits via mobile and ATM. Days went by and the banker still hadn't followed up. I then reached out to customer support, and it took two phones on two separate days to get an answer regarding the promo. I was told it's resolved, though they were unable to provide a confirmation number for our call. I learned the relationship banker that I interacted with is the Branch Manager. Close to two weeks later the Branch Manager still hasn't followed up and my card was addressed to the incorrect address.

More incredible is they only have branches around Pitsburgh PA. So they say now that my account was blocked by them (for no given reason and with money in it), they want me to drive 7 hours from Philadelphia to Pitsburgh and offer no other method to "verify me"... and no other information is given over the phone by any rep. And no other method to contact except I have to drive 7 hours to get access back to MY MONEY that they are holding hostage. We need a CLASS ACTION SUIT against these scammers.

I love Mellons, I love ever part of the Mellons particularly the Mellon Center…read more So obviously I was going to love this amazing towering glass-and-steel building that is one of the many skyscrapers which dominates the glorious skyline of downtown Pittsburgh. Inside, the building looks brand spanking new and very spacious as you can imagine. In an added plot twist, there is an underground passage right beneath the building (just go down from the main lobby) where there are a series of lunchtime-centric restaurants including the amazing Istanbul Grille. If every skyscraper had such wonders beneath it, I would spend all my time beneath skyscrapers. But as it happens, I stick to being down underneath this Mellon. Parking in this area is tricky during busy times, but if you manage to find it nearby, come and check out Istanbul Grille below this amazing building. The best place to view the skyline is from way up on Grandview Drive at the incredible lookout points. And you may be spending all your time in Pittsburgh after reading my reviews, but be aware that "BNY"... Baltimore Needs You.

After continual promises of closings and dates, they started delaying, week after week, costing me time and money. When one of my bill payments fell through the cracks because it was scheduled to post on a day that we were closing, they denied me the mortgage. They asked me for the same information over and over, to the point where I don't even think they were reviewing what I was sending them, they were just pacifying me until they could find a justifiable reason to deny me. When I gave it to them (a mistake, but MY mistake nonetheless), they all of a sudden were right on top of their job and denied me within 24 hours. Kimberlee Hill, the loan officer reviewing my information, was inept, would NOT return a phone call (when that would have resolved all of the issues and we wouldn't be in this situation). I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE as they have lousy customer service and horrible communication skills.
