I love Mellons, I love ever part of the Mellons particularly the Mellon Center.
So obviously I was going to love this amazing towering glass-and-steel building that is one of the many skyscrapers which dominates the glorious skyline of downtown Pittsburgh.
Inside, the building looks brand spanking new and very spacious as you can imagine. In an added plot twist, there is an underground passage right beneath the building (just go down from the main lobby) where there are a series of lunchtime-centric restaurants including the amazing Istanbul Grille. If every skyscraper had such wonders beneath it, I would spend all my time beneath skyscrapers. But as it happens, I stick to being down underneath this Mellon.
Parking in this area is tricky during busy times, but if you manage to find it nearby, come and check out Istanbul Grille below this amazing building.
The best place to view the skyline is from way up on Grandview Drive at the incredible lookout points.
