HORRIBLE. SERVICE. I'm Thai and this was genuinely the worst food ever. Don't get me wrong, the settings and the atmosphere is swell, pretty, nothing wrong there aside from the constant swarm of flies inside or out. But, the main man who was taking orders and serving was not accommodating and I felt personally prejudiced by him. Tell me why a singular egg was $3.00? I asked for Thai hot (I even said it in Thai), I received the most tasteless chilis of my life there was any even added. I believe places like this will not take you seriously when asked to add spice in hopes you will not send it back for being too spicy. I know what I asked for. It feels as if he was not as warm to myself and my friend as he was to the other guests eating. It was so bland. And then, the sticky rice was clearly frozen and reheated. No problem, I understand. But to a point where it was nearly inedible in the inconsistency of textures within the BARK of sticky rice was so indescribably disappointing. Half of it was purely crunchy, the other half was soaking wet and the rice was almost pudding-like. I genuinely think that he hated me because I personally would never serve what was served to me to any customer that came into my restaurant. I was so disappointed that this Thai restaurant was not good. I stopped in at lunch time to order something to go and I should have been tipped off that no one was in the restaurant. I ordered the cashew chicken and it was not freshly cooked. It had a weak, non- flavorful broth and some possibly frozen veggies. The chicken must have been microwaved. There was no real Cooking going on in the back. The only decent thing about the dish was the cashews. I love Thai food and have been to so many good restaurants in the Seattle area. The food was 5/5 Atmosphere was 3/5 It feels very cluttered, there's way too much decor and it feels claustrophobic. The backyard/deck has a really cool homemade water feature, I appreciate the craftsmanship and creativity that went into that. But it can definitely use some TLC. That being said- the pad Thai was incredible, tom yum was authentic and well presented Chicken curry was amazing. Osoyoos doesn't have much selection, I would recommend this place even in a bigger city with more options. read more

I feel sad to post this review about Dolci Thai Bistro restaurant. My partner and my son and I went to this restaurant yesterday for dinner. Honestly, we were shocked to discover our meal.. My partner and my son ordered the yellow curry dinners. The food and sauce was yellow green and watery. It was cold. It was obviously reheated in a microwave, but served cold. The rice was minute rice My pad Thai was the worst thing I have ever eaten. The chicken was really tough and the tofu was thinly sliced and overcooked as well. This is a cute little bistro with lovely decor, although the table setting and the menu prices seem pointed toward high end dining. I was a bit surprised restaurant has no lunch options when I was browsing the menu. Anyhow, since I wasn't that hungry I just ordered a green papaya salad and short ribs. First off, the veggies in green papaya salad were all nicely julienned and the sauce was also on point. However the crushed peanuts & cashew were stale, hence ruined the overall taste. I still managed to finish the salad and left all stale nuts aside. Beef short ribs, this was perhaps marinated with garlicky Korean sauce? They smelled wonderfully and every single piece was juicy & tender. There was only one other diner in the restaurant while I was there during lunchtime, maybe because it's a tourist town and it's not yet the season. But I do feel they definitely could draw more people in if the menu offers few more varieties catering to lunch crowd. Overall my lunch bite at Dolci Thai bistro was not bad, the service was ok but a bit disappointing of the food. Doubt I will be back in the future. read more

We went to osoyoos for vacation. First night we chose here for dinner. The food is awful and pricy. Very disappointed. I ordered a yellow curry chicken. It is black with no curry taste and weird ingredients in it. Taste gross. I waste most of it. Anther dish is the beef dish. Very not tasty and watery and small portion. $28 for that crap. Anther dish is don yum Kim soup. Super salty and gross. I asked for hot water to make it less salty. The soup is supposed to be a hot pot. But served with a pot without any fire on. When we eating, two or three flies are flying all the time during we eating. Two bowl of rices cost $8 dollars. I thought it comes with the expensive dish as it should be! This is the most gross and unhappy experience in a restaurant! Gross! Hope not have a food poison later! read more

Best Authentic Thai food EVER!!! I just love the shopkeeper, she's kind and has the best customer service, healthy food, and handmade noodles... Over-the-top delicious, friendly, and comfortable atmosphere, super sweet family biz. The back deck is magic in the summer. My favorite place to eat in Osoyoos. I would move to the town just to eat the food! It's that yummy... I always stop by when passing through, and its what I look forward to most in terms of yummy food! Khop Khun!!!! read more

This was one of the worst meals of my life. Do not eat here. We ordered a simple chicken stir fry that had no flavor. Just a thin broth. The spring rolls were overcooked on the outside and gummy on the inside. I ordered a glass of wine and got a very warm Chardonnay. I asked for water and there was something floating round in my glass (not water). We left without eating this horrible meal but they still expected us to pay. More than disappointed - angry and still hungry! Just the worse experience ever! If I could give them less than one star I would. read more

The mango salad was delicious. Very fresh and I liked the dressing. Also enjoyed the beef with green beans and corn. A few tables inside, and a few more on a grape vice covered patio. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are in line with the rest of town. read more

Absolute worst pad Thai I have ever had. I ordered takeout so I could go down to the lake to eat, which was a good idea, too- the restaurant is a mess, receipts and a laptop where the owner is doing bookkeeping at the bar right when you walk in, and one of the front window areas where seating should be has a bunch of items stored here. Food: Over cooked noodles that are so soggy they break apart completely, sauce isn't that flavourful, there are GREEN BEANS throughout, a bit of lettuce was also added into my takeout container unnecessarily and is just a wilted mess, and there are zero fresh herbs included. When I went to pay, I asked if it was the lunch special (served with a spring roll, and $15.50 vs. $17). He said no, that's only a curry dish today (but their website lists a lunch specials menu with 5 items at $15.50). Whatever, I paid I left, I'll never go back. read more

Very poor food safe practices. As we were waiting for our table, we saw the chef in the kitchen take the spoon out of a pot, taste whatever she was cooking, and put the spoon back in the pot. We were so disgusted so we quickly left. This seems like a horrible thing for a kitchen to do ever, but especially during covid times. Another reason we left, was that the manager cleaning our table was using a wet rag and no bottle of disinfectant. Consider yourself warned. read more

Osoyoos is not a place filled with casual dining options. Was delighted to have found Dolci Thai Bistro during a visit last year. Needless to say, Dolci Thai has now become a regular dining location on my annual motorcycle trip to Osoyoos. Great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. If you enjoy Thai cuisine, then Dolci Thai Bistro should be on your dining list when visiting Osoyoos. Offering a variety of authentic Thai dishes, there is something to satisfy even the fussiest of diners. Ask the owner about her sponge cake. I ordered pad thai mild and picked up take out from our hotel, it was super spicy with red chilies, i called and they told me to come me back no delivery service, i again walked the 3 blocks and the owner would not give me my order unless i brought the old one back, i argued this was not our error and i should not have to come back again, we had opened the food, we did not want it -mild to extra spicy, we did not eat it except to taste it, she just kept saying we cant have two orders when we paid for one, i am VERY disappointed in this customer service read more

Food was horrific, they charged a dish and didn't give it to us (and when we brought the food back they wouldn't give us the money because we didn't have the invisible dish), and meat was undercooked. DO NOT spend money here!! Food took an hour and 45 minutes and when we called to report the problem they insisted on us bringing it back in able to get our money back. When we brought it back, the owner wouldn't give us all our money back because we didn't bring all the spring rolls back because they were in the GARBAGE!! Owner wanted to meet us at a local parking lot to 'inspect that the food was bad'. We were treated like fools. WORST PLACE EVER!!!! Stopping through Osoyoos on a really smoky day. We decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed! Very nice decor and extremely friendly hostess /server. We had the Som Tum salad with mango which was a generous portion. This was followed by the Tom Yum Goong which was also delicious although the large size option was a little smaller than expected. However there was plenty of very delicately cooked shrimp in there. We did not like the beef with basil and our server was generous enough to replace it with chicken yellow curry. The yellow curry was delicious.. Quite light and not overly heavy like at other Thai places. We'd definitely come back and recommend to everyone! read more

The food was excellent! My family tried almost everything on the menu and shared among the table so we all tried each dish. We agreed that the coconut prawns appetizer is a must-have and the coconut ice cream was the perfect way to end off our medium heat meals. As a bonus, there is a quaint patio in the back! read more

This spot is amazing! We came here starving and craving a fresh somewhat healthy meal compared the usual Wendys etc and it was such amazing food. The owner is from Thailand and cooks the food fresh to order. She is also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area even told us a good spot to go get our fruit on the way back. Kept passing this place so decided to look them up. Checked their website and it says they have lunch specials everyday from 11-2 and they have green curry, yellow curry, pad Thai and red curry for $15.50. We came in today and they told us they only have red curry as a special and when we asked about the others indicated on their website, they told us they rotate specials everyday and you don't know what it is unless you come here. We specifically came here for yellow curry and pad Thai so we decided to pack up and leave since they wouldn't honour it. Was very excited to try something else in Osoyoos as we have been coming for years but was disappointed. Now time to find something else for lunch! read more

We placed a take out order for pad Thai, chicken satay and spring rolls. What we received was half a order of spring rolls and some sort of f***ing mush that sort of resembled pad Thai. Taste was bland and the spring rolls were burnt. We will not be returning ever. Well worth the drive to Keremeos to the Thai restaurant over there. read more
