They have a variety of cookies, breads and special pastries for certain seasons like struffoli during Easter. She said no and then looked slightly outside. I think the young male owner was sitting outside - probably should've asked him first. Got a Pan Suisse & that was good. In addition to being so soggy, there was a weird apricot I believe jam on the bottom, which was offputting all in all, stick to the classics here but don't hesitate to try something that catches your eye. There is one cookie, a chocolate covered tricolor number, steeped in amaretto, that is to die for. The others are pleasant enough. You are not there for the coffee, unless you just gotta have coffee. They let people sit there a long time. Families and other neighborhood people do just that. You listen to Billo's Caracas boys, you eat really good cookies, the afternoon goes by. The price is reasonable especially for Long Island. I'm also impressed with the hours, usually bakeries close very early. There are many options to choose from and the staff are more than happy to provide advice and recommendations. The Rocher dessert I got is definitely my favorite, its not bitter and especially sweet. The Hot Chocolate I got wasn't anything too special, but still good nonetheless. There is a Fruit Tart and Berry Tart, I believe one of them had custard cream and another had cream. Don't quote me on this but I think the Berry Tart had the custard filling. I also got this Dark Chocolate/Coffee cake, it wasn't my favorite as I'm not a fan of dark chocolate or coffee but it looked beautiful. The Red Velvet Cake was also delicious and crumbly. The first day I came I heard Pop and Indie like Sabrina Carpenter, The Marias, Shakira, etc. The next day I came I heard more underground artists and older music.
