I love the Shelton location! The staff is amazing, always helpful to squeeze me in to an appointment with my busy schedule! Scott is an amazing clinician! He has excellent skills and is one of the top injectors in the state of CT. His personality always makes you feel welcome, and his advice is priceless. He is wonderful with suggesting skin care regimens, not just injecting muscle relaxants but also with fillers, photofacials, and skin care lines. I trust him with my face!! They also have cutting edge technology, including venus freeze and lipo lite. Check them out! Totally worth your money, and their prices can't be beat! read more

Dolce Vida Medical Spa - Medical Spas Near Me - Trumbull, Connecticut

Place is run like a drive thru car wash, you go in, get your filler and they want to automatically schedule you for the next visit. Its hard to see where this place values you as a customer, its all about sell sell sell not what you really need. you can do better then come in, lets fill you up, pay up and lets schedule for you a next time read more

It is important to bring to your attention my last encounter with Scott. After being a loyal costumer from day one Scott has really proven to be exactly who his reputation is across CT. My last encounter with Scott his behavior was unethical and unprofessional that has left me flabbergasted. As a long-time customer, having visited your spa since it opened, I expected a higher level of service and respect. However, on my most recent visit, I was made to feel unheard and disrespected. Your condescending tone and dismissive attitude left me feeling upset and frustrated. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness, especially considering the loyalty I have shown to your business. It all happened after I insisted that Scott show me what he was going to inject into my face after I didn't feel comfortable having pre filled syringes injected on my face, especially since the last couple times I was not satisfied with the results. Scott insisted that I get what he had prepared which was something that would keep the price within my budged when I never expressed I had a budget that was important to me. PLEASE BE WARE WHO AND WHAT YOU ARE GETTING INJECTED. read more

Stephanie always does a wonderful job. I trust her opinion when it comes to keeping a natural look -- they're the best around!

Violated HIPPA by posting my before and after photos all over their social media channels. I emailed the business *six* times and never heard back from anyone. read more

Scott is first class, very up to date in tech and new procedures. Clean facilities and nice staff. Although, they do take the "we are right and you are wrong attitude." read more

Please, please, please DO YOUR RESEARCH before letting anyone at this business touch your face. I've had Botox with Stephanie before and it went fine. I went to her for under-eye filler and she completely botched my face. I contacted her after and she said it was normal to have lumps under your eyes and that it would disperse. IT NEVER DISPERSED. I had two large lumps under both eyes for months and contacted them to dissolve it and never received a response. I called again and spoke to a RUDE office manager. I asked to please see Scott because I did not want Stephanie touching my face. I was told it's policy to have the initial injector fix their mistake. Is this for teaching purposes only?! Why would anyone allow someone to touch their face after being botched by them?! I hung up. I received calls and texts afterwards saying "Scott would like to see you." Oh thanks, after fighting with you I finally get to be seen by the King?! No thanks. I've had my undereye's dissolved 3 times already and there's still lumps. It was injected so poorly that my current injector was shocked when she felt it. Please, Stephanie, educate yourself on the proper method of injecting undereye filler instead of deleting and blocking people off of Instagram out of spite. I guess professionalism isn't your strong suit?! I'm out almost $2,000 due to her mistake. Do better. read more

i had botox for my forehead two weeks ago with stephanie and came out of there with my eyelids drooping so much, i cannot even put on mascara. i emailed them to tell them this and they did not even respond. do not trust them and they ripped me off on a groupon, did not accept it! read more

Stay far away and read reviews before you book! Their social media shows very little "work" and lots of advertising for events. Owner of this spa is very arrogant and instead of addressing customer service issues he passes them off to a pseudo manager (wife). This place couldn't be any more unprofessional. They're only looking for social media presence and attention- several people I know have had awful experiences there with lip injections and Botox gone wrong. Scott always thinks the customer is wrong read more

Super unprofessional place. Dirty inside and rude people. I'd rather go to the place in Milford, at least I know I'd get my moneys worth there and have a good job done. Honestly I'd send someone I hate here. read more

A total nightmare and a rip off. Scott advised me to get a mint lift (cost $1,000) which should of lasted up to 2 years. I received Botox forehead $600 which never removed any frown lines either. After the swelling went down its been two months and no improvement. I went back and he then advised me to get Radiesse costing another $1274.00 which is a filler injection under the chin. Waited a month - no results except for black and blues under my chin and swelling. Nothing was accomplished - no improvement/no results. Went back and was told no refunds and he was not trying to fix or resolve the situation by offering any compensation towards the $3,000 I just spent for nothing. They're dishonest and treat their customers horribly. Will be disputing all charges with this place of business. Would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. read more

I went to Dolce Vida with high hopes. After experiencing a lump on my lip with another injector, who subsequently dissolved it, I went to Dolce Vida to correct the issue and help even things out. I had one part of my lip that was imperfect, but it was so minor that no one else would notice. My injector at Dolce Vida put half a syringe in my lips - primarily in the problem area, and used the other half of the syringe under my eyes, which I had never done before. Fast forward a month, giving plenty of time for the swelling to go down, and the un-evenness in my lip is FAR WORSE than it was before. And my under-eye filler forms a pill like shape on one side every time I smile. I called and tried to get an appointment with Scott Callahan (an injector and one of the owners) to address the issues, but was told I could only see Stephanie, my original injector again. I asked if they would be willing to correct the issues without charging me again (I spent $1,000 on my first visit for 1 syringe of filler and some botox), and they said no, I would have to pay. Please tell my why I would continue to hand over wads of money to a company that made everything worse on my first visit? If they're not willing to fix their mistakes, I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. read more

Updated review- Scott left the Tyndall effect in my mom's tear troughs. It's been 7 months and it still looks like a bruise underneath her eyes. We don't live in Connecticut anymore so he's not able to fix it. Super annoying and I feel bad for my mom. Scott should've noticed it. Now we have to spend $500 to have the Resatylane Silk dissolved in Iowa...and start all over again. read more

Absolutely awful! Botox around my eyes was terribly bruised for at least 3 weeks. Scott is shady. Injectables do not last. Save your money. Very unprofessional. Never deliver what's promised. read more

I would NOT recommend Dolce Vida Medical Spa, I had inferior work done with Botox and found that their office was difficult to work with. They blamed me for the problem with the Botox! I will never go back there. read more

Big nope! The bad reviews should have been a red flag ‍. Their xeomin (was bait and switched from Botox) is junk. I later spoke to a few friends who also had poor experiences with injectables there. I was sold 30 units (24 at my regular spa worked for 5 months) and theirs never "kicked in". When I asked about this, I was told I needed to purchase more (another red flag, overselling) the manager and injector contradicted each other. Injector said 30 units would "last much longer"- but the manager said I was "underdosed" instead of being honest and correcting the issue, they wanted more money for a junk tox . Their xeomin must be watered down. They are too busy posting on social media to actually care about their clients, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other wonderful spas in Fairfield county. I'd stay far away from a business that is deceitful and won't explain anything. Another downfall is the owner is married to the "manager", there was no professionalism. I declined to come back for more tox so I was ghosted by the "manager" who left a snarky reply. read more

There is no one better then Scott when it comes to lips! He has refreshed my face for the past 4 years and I have never been disappointed with the work he has done for me. Everything he does is amazing but what he does for my lips far exceeds my expectations! I refer to him as the lip whisperer! Truly an artist! Thank you Scott for making me feel my best ever! read more

This is the place to go! Professional clean and friendly staff. Scott Callahan is the best! He is truly a master at what he does! Botox was painless and quick. Absolutely recommend this place. read more

This is absolutely the best medical spa I have ever been to. For starters, they have the best prices in all of the NYC Metro Area. They have the best and newest machines/procedures. And the staff is amazing! Aside from being friendly, they are knowledgeable and honest. Not sure what other posters mean but I have NEVER been "upsold" on anything. If anything, I've been told I don't need certain procedures even after making the appointment (by Scott). I booked an IPL and Venus Viva to remove sun damage and my skin responded so well to the IPL that he advised me to save the extra money and not bother with the Venus Viva. I usually see Melissa for my IPL and Botox treatments and she is truly a gem! I love this place and won't stop recommending people. read more

Can't believe the reviews on this place must be made up by staff. Scott, the p.a. is nice but you get what you don't ask for. Over priced and over charged me then when they said they would "send me a refund" I never got one. That wad over a year ago and I have not been back, nor will I. When you have to continuously call to follow up on service and continuously get voice mail, not very complimentary to service offerings. read more

I went to the Norwalk location and it was the worst!! The tech was very unprofessional!! The first tech I dealt with was late to see me and not very knowledgeable of her product or the office!! The second tech I saw b/c the first one was fired, again very unprofessional left me waiting for 20 minutes to then come out to the waiting area & tell me her computer was down! Which was a lye b/c someone else in the office told me she was giving a treatment! After being fed up with this place, I call to speak to the owner and was told he would get back to me, never did! I lost my money, but dealing with these people was the worst and the biggest waste of time and money!!! read more

Always a pleasant experience. Professional friendly and priced well. Great massages and innovative beauty boosters. Highly recommend.

Met Marta a few weeks ago for the first time for Botox and she was extremely nice and friendly. She took the time to explain everything to me as well as my friend who accompanied me and had questions about different procedures that Dolce Vida offers. I went back a second time a few weeks later and requested Marta because she makes you feel very comfortable and helps decide what's the best thing for you. Thank you Marta for your patience, see you soon! read more

Scott is great. Friendly people, good service, good price. Keep an eye out for their specials.... Soooooo worth it!

Scott is a great injector for both Botox and fillers. Been going to him for years. After my Botox within days I look like I had a little facelift. Very pleased with the results. The whole team is super friendly and very helpful. Great new Westport location. Highly recommend him. read more

I went to the Norwalk location. Scott injected Botox way too close to my eyes so now I have to walk around with droopy eyes for the next 3 months. I spoke to him about it and he became defensive and offered a prescription for eye drops...not a refund. It wasn't worth the fight. I learned my lesson and will do more research before I get Botox again. Scott is a Physician's Assistant, not a doctor. His Facebook reviews are so great because you can erase poor reviews. I spoke to my dermatologist about his practice and he said he has received other complaints regarding Scott. I've received Botox about 5 other times before this and have never had this happen. I used to go to a doctor in the city, but I recently moved to the area so I decided to try this place because it was inexpensive. read more

I have been going to Dolce Vida for several years. I have always found the staff to be professional and accommodating. I believe that DV is a cut above similar facilities since Scott has developed cutting edge procedures that enhance your appearance and are cost friendly with no down time. FYI: I have been to the Hamden and Shelton offices and I was equally satisfied with both places. read more

DO NOT GO! I regret not reading K.F.'s review because my experience was very similar. I used a Groupon for botox and like so many I was trying to save a bit and find a new, local office. Big mistake! Lesson learned, go to a licensed doctor. My goal was to soften lines on my forehead as I've done many times before without issue. Before Scott Calahan, owner and NOT a doctor, does the injections he gives you a lengthy upsell on available botox and other "if purchased today you'll get a great price" packages. Once he saw I wasn't interested in purchasing more it seemed like he rushed to be done. I was never asked to show him which lines to focus on but I did tell him the ones near my hairline bothered me. He quickly injected a straight line across my forehead right above my eyebrows. I was told that this would give me a brow lift and I would look great. By the time I got to my car the injection bumps were way larger than I had ever experienced before. I got a swollen ridge like a Cro-Magnon man that has lasted a month and 2 droopy eyes that look like I'm a victim of a stroke. One eye is droopier than the other and when I called to complain and mentioned how the kids I teach Sunday school too asked if I'm angry at them because I look so mean I was told that maybe the kids gave me pink eye and that was what caused it. I too like K.F. (see review) was offered eye drops. I Face Timed with his office manager Katie (also his wife) who looked horrified and offered a refund through Groupon. This took weeks of multiple emails, phone calls, and has been a nightmare. There is nothing that can be done to rectify this but time. Sadly I will be excluded from photos in an upcoming family wedding and will feel self-conscious until it fades. PS I still have lines on my forehead. read more

I am very, very disgusted with this place, specially Scott Callahan. The first time that I went there, he talked me into Venus freeze for my face. I had just wanted fillers, but of course he made more money this way. It did absolutely nothing. When I told Scott that I had just wanted the look of fillers, he said "oh, I will give them to you at a reduced rate". Not very reduced. The second time, I went for fillers. I ended up spending over $3000. They did nothing, so I went to Scott. He said"just wait". After waiting almost 3 months, I went to him and complained. When I had reminded him how much I spent, and that it was a lot of money for me, he said how he does 10 a day, implying that what I spent was not much. He agreed to give me more, and different fillers, begrudgingly, but he lied about the ones that I was previously given. He told me some random name which I had never heard, and saying that it was in my file, that he had to go check. My file was right in the room! He gave me some cheap fillers that he pretended to see. Despicable, lying and money-grubbing! read more

I found this med spa through a Groupon and it's now my go-to place for skin care. Scott is so helpful and knowledgeable on the latest, and greatest in anti-aging treatments. Update: Scott emailed and called me Sunday 11/15 and let me know he had instructed his staff to get in touch with me regarding my droopy lids. He gave me a couple solutions for a fix until they could get me into the office. He said the office would call me to make an appointment to do some adjustments and fix my eyes at no charge. I received a call Monday and was given an appointment for Saturday 11/21. It's only been a couple days and I am already noticing a slight improvement. Thanks Scott/Dolce Vida. I went to this Med Spa for the first time today and met Scott who was my injector. I was originally there for Belafill until Scot introduced me to a newer longer lasting product called Alofill (I spelled that wrong) which lats 7 years instead of 5 like the Belafill. Of course these time frames are not written in stone which I am well aware of but I am all about the longer lasting the better. Scott explained everything in detail and made me feel very comfortable with my decision to get this done. He made me very comfortable with the numbing products and all I felt were a few pinches and that's it. I also get Botox for Migraines and my regular Dr didn't do a great job so Scott fixed that right up for me. So let me tell you I am THRILLED with the results and couldn't be happier! I have had other injections elsewhere and nothing comes even close to the results I got today. I am so mad at myself that I didn't go here in the first place because I feel like I wasted $2,300 at the other place with minimal results. I cannot wait to go back and get a little more done in other areas and bring my Hubby in to get his baggy eyes done and possibly Kybella for his neck. Also the girl at the front desk "forgot her name" but she is the sweetest most helpful person and she really made me feel so welcome and at ease. Thank You Scott! I feel like a million bucks! read more
