I jumped on it early in December and snagged us appointments for January 3rd. Turns out, it was worth the wait! My massage therapist, Janine, was wonderful and my mom only spoke positively about her massage therapist, Hannah. I always know a massage is good when I fall asleep... and sure enough, I drifted off for a little spa nap. Mission accomplished! I also loved the quiet room and the showers afterward, which really extended the whole relaxation experience. While I've been to spas across the country with much more extravagant amenities, Woodhouse is a fantastic option for Buffalo. I have never felt so wonderful coming out of any massage therapy before. It's now two days later and I still feel phenomenal. I have chronic lower back pain and have worked for years with chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists. None have left me feeling as good as Michele has. While an issue still exists, the pain is greatly reduced and I now have hope it can eventually be eliminated. An added bonus is the dark wood, cabin atmosphere with fireplace and soothing music. This one is literally 2 minutes from their house, so I figured I would give them a try. First of all, their prices are very affordable, especially compared to other salons. They don't raise the price just because it is for a wedding. I had my trial hair and make up done on the morning of my bridal shower. I have a lot of hair and wanted it mostly down with curls. I've never had anyone curl my hair so quickly and have it look so nice. It turned out amazing and lasted most of the day. They were very good with communication about what I wanted and understanding what I was looking for (even though I did not come with any pictures). My make up turned out great as well. I wanted to look natural but have my eyes stand out (often my eyes look or are closed in pictures). Both ladies took notes so they would have them when they did the actual wedding hair and make up in May. The procedure itself wasn't too painful. There was some peeling for 2 weeks which she warned me about it in my opinion was well worth it. Stacie was very professional and took her time.
