Where to begin?! Ok - first impressions - decor - gorgeous! Then labeled gluten-free gelato so i don't have to even guess - BONUS AWESOMENESS Gelato was super smooth and full of flavor. There's games you can borrow, outside spaces with the cool patio lights (great date spot) as well as desserts and a coffee bar and a boba bar to order from... Will be back!

Fresh and flavorful gelato made in-house

What a delightful surprise! We had business at the BMV next door and walked over for ice cream afterwards. I didn't know what to expect, so it was like walking into a little movie theatre wonderland. The decor pays homage to the location's previous life as a movie theatre, and there's a moving playing on the big screen in the background (hard to see in this photo). We walked in on end of The Little Mermaid and caught the first few minutes of Lilo and Stitch. It's summer kick off week here, so maybe that's why they're both beach-themed kids movies? But the star of the show (hehe) was definitely the gelato. All the flavors tasted fresh and flavorful, and the attendant was generous with the samplings. We decided on the chocolate hazelnut, coconut, and raspberry sorbet. Portions are on the small size--as one would expect from a Gelateria in Italy, but perhaps unexpected at an ice cream place in the US. Regardless, the flavors more than compensate. Just slow down and enjoy every bite. We'll certainly be back, maybe for a date night (and hopefully a non-Disney movie) next time!

I enjoy a ride to Wadsworth to Dolce At The Strand! There's always so many choices of gelato and pastries!! I was told at my last visit that the tiramisu is authentic and they were taught by an Italian baker how to make it!!! Everything is always from here. The cake flavors change weekly!!

Sunday afternoon at Dolce at the s. We had the S'mores cheesecake and a flight of sorbet/gelato: lemon, strawberry, blackberry, coconut, salted caramel & buckeye. Everything tasted delicious! The cheesecake was decadent. Our favorites were the salted caramel & buckeye gelatos and blackberry sorbet. The interior is amazing! Definitely a place to rent out for a party or event. They also have a large patio area. We will be back.

This place is just the cutest spot! We decided to "taste the case" with our large group and it was a fun , delicious decision. The young man that helped us was such a wonderful worker. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The gelato was delicious- my son also got the popping boba and enjoyed it. Thanks for a wonderful dessert. We look forward to coming back every time we visit Ohio to see family.

Located in downtown Wadsworth, and inside the former Strand theater, this establishment serves fantastic gelato and coffee drinks. They even serve boozy concoctions! I highly recommend the affogato! After I ordered my affogato, I sat outside which was delightful. Enjoyed the affogato; smooth and delicious! Tasted great with the salted caramel gelato. The person who took my order was helpful, friendly, and nice. She was also doing a good job training a new employee. When you are in downtown Wadsworth, you need to stop here!

Delicious desserts, and always service with a smile. Any meal in downtown Wadsworth must be finished with a suite dessert at dolce.

Whoaaaaa.... this place was so cool. I can't believe I didn't know about it, I'm telling everyone!! What a hidden gem, I've been in downtown so many times and didn't know about this. They even have a patio with boccce ball in the back and a large area with tables and music playing. When you walk in you literally have red carpet treatment.

From what our family has seen, there were serious concerns about staff behavior and the overall safety culture within the kitchen and management team. What is even more upsetting is the way serious issues were handled or more accurately, not handled. Situations that should have been treated with urgency, professionalism, and genuine concern were met with what felt like avoidance and a lack of accountability. No family should ever have to question whether a business is doing enough to protect the wellbeing of the people around them, especially minors. Because of this experience, our family has completely lost trust in this establishment. We would strongly urge ownership to reevaluate who they employ, how they supervise staff, and how they respond when alarming concerns are raised. Until real changes are made, we cannot recommend that anyone support this restaurant.

Firehouse Tavern - Honest Review…read more We stopped in because one of the ladies in our group was craving sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told they're no longer on the menu--even though they still appear on the website. Our waitress explained there's a new manager and they currently don't have access to update the online menu. The atmosphere felt cold and very empty when we arrived, so we asked for something warm to drink. The only options were Coke products, so five of us settled for simply a cup of hot water. There were nine of us total, and the food came out sporadically. We tried to wait until everyone had their meal, but the timing made it a little awkward. On a positive note, I ordered the House on Fire Jalapeño Popper Burger. It came with crispy bacon, cream cheese, and jalapeños. The menu said the jalapeños were deep-fried, though I only received soft ones. However -- the burger was cooked perfectly. I asked for medium, and it came out pink inside, which told me the patties are made fresh. My side was the homemade potato chips, but they were just dry fried potatoes without much flavor or crisp. Once everyone finally had their food, the waitress disappeared. I ended up going to the bar myself to ask for water, and was handed a plastic cup with no ice. We didn't see the waitress again until she came around with the checks. The good news is: They do take credit cards The restaurant is wheelchair accessible -- but only if the correct parking spot is open. Once the lot fills (about 10 cars), the incline makes it nearly impossible for a handicap van to park safely. My burger, fries, and cup of water came to about $15. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals, but between the missing menu items, slow service, and lack of warmth in the atmosphere, it just wasn't the experience we hoped for.
