Caprese salad would have benefited greatly with some local heirloom rather than grocery store under ripened tomatoes. Ordered the wagyu flank- very chewy and undercooked. No one checked to see how our meals were. The smashed Yukon were missing the pesto as described. Dessert selections were underwhelming. Pretty pricey for Wadsworth for mediocre. read more

This Braciole was spot on great. In house made pasta. So tender. So good and tender! The one negative was the noise throughout the space, no one's fault but wow an issue for sure. My aunt got the swordfish which she said was incredible! Ella was our server and wonderful as well. read more

We visited the highly anticipated VUE in Wadsworth and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and high-quality cuisine. If I could, I would rate this place, a 4.75, taking off a couple of points for the loudness. It's an open air room, and there were no sound baffles, making conversation somewhat difficult. For a brand new restaurant, they sure had their act together. Our server was extremely attentive and allowed us to order and eat at our own pace. I hate being rushed through service and pressured to order before I'm ready, so I am happy to report that I did not feel pressured at The Vue. We were impressed by the wine selection; they had many unique house wines that are not your typical cheapo brands. We started with a couple of cocktails and the crab-stuffed peppers. I highly recommend the peppers! The cocktails were unique & tasty. Not your typical boring simple-syrupy drinks. I would love to see more local liquor represented at the bar, but was happy to see they at least had Voudoux Vodka. We also went with our server's recommendations for our meals: I had the orange roughy, and my husband had the roast. We were delighted by our meals, and I especially loved the rice that came with mine: uniquely flavorful and bright. The carrots on the dish, however, were somewhat clumsy and maybe cut a little too large. Overall, everything was flavored very nicely. We also went with the server's recommendation for dessert and had the German chocolate cake which was super moist, very coconutty, and not overly sweet, which we appreciated. Homemade too! An outsider would not have guessed this was The Vue's first week in operation as they were extremely efficient and everything was delicious. I am excited to come back and try different cocktails and entrées. What a nice addition to Wadsworth! read more

Really a mistake coming here. Every seat is so loud one can't have a conversation. The owner, "Chef," will not tolerate substitutions and the menu is rather limited. Vegetables are a foreign thing here -- very "meat heavy." Overall, the atmosphere is upscale but it's certainly not welcoming. The place exudes arrogance -- as does the owner's other location. Arrived at Vue just as the kitchen was closing. We were hungry and even though they could have told us they weren't serving food, they happily took our order and accommodated us. Someone from the kitchen staff even stopped by and encouraged us to get whatever we wanted even though they had already started to clean up. We had a salad that nicely highlighted the flavors of spring and a very generously portioned flounder dish that was also delicious and flavorful. The food was superb, the drinks were creative, and the service and attitude of the owners and staff is what will bring us back again. Also, I noticed that when the staff left for the night, the restaurant owner personally thanked them for their help - something that seems uncommon today. Vue is a place that you need to go to with an open mind. Their food is like art and even if you aren't crazy about the dish you got, try them again, because they are always creating something new and inventive. This place has a lot of promise and is a great addition to downtown Wadsworth! read more

My husband and I dined at The Vue December 30th 2023. The service was great, although a little fast. I would have liked a little more time between cocktail, salad and dinner. It seemed perhaps they wanted our table or to move us along even though we had a reservation. My husband had the Grand-vue Avenue, which was a very good cocktail and I had wine. Next time I'd try a cocktail because the menu looked interesting. The salad was good - but for $12? My husband had the Scottish Sunday Roast - tasty but on the dry side. I had the Parsley gnocchi which was not to my liking. It was too sweet and I didn't expect the butternut squash sauce to be so watery - it was almost a soup. Ambience was beautiful - if you sit in a booth, it was not as loud as some reviewers noted. But I could imagine it does get loud with all the windows and hard surfaces if you are sitting in the middle of the room. I will definitely give The Vue another try - love that they change their menu often! read more

Not sure where all these rave reviews are coming from. I have to say the service was great. Atmosphere was obnoxiously loud, I felt like everyone in the restaurant was yelling over each other. Drinks were good and they have a nice beer/wine list as well. Food was just OKAY...but for the money, I won't be going back. Skip the deviled eggs...$15 for 3 eggs cut in half and probably the worst I've ever had. We should have sent them back but I didn't feel like it was appropriate, especially while sitting at the bar. Again, great service but overall we left disappointed solely based on the food. read more

I always want to be generous to a new restaurant--especially one in such a beautiful space and close to home. But I'm torn about my experience at VUE tonight. Despite being the third noisiest restaurant I've ever eaten in, I loved the vibe/ambience here. Looking out the windows onto the lighted square made us feel like we were in a little bistro in New York City. Our server and all of the wait staff were amazing. I guess it comes down to the food. It just felt...stingy. A plate of bread--four slices--with some honey butter for 9$??? Half a glass of sangria for $10? A chicken thigh on some rice for $28? A few slices of bread costs nothing. A generous pour? I went to Pitchfork on Ghent last week and gasped at the prices but was amazed by the portions. Gasped here. Not amazed. I wanted to love this place but didn't. And most of of us had sore throats trying to talk over the din. ‍ read more
